The Body of Anxiety

Fear or worry’
Fidgeting with the rings on my petite
angelic hands.
Nerves up high, questioning what's going to happen when
I walk through those burgundy doors.
Breathing in and out, almost causing a panic of defeat,
Breaking barriers that weren’t meant to be broken.
Texting them asking for advice, they say you’ve got this
I got you.
Nerves or advantages
either way its anxiety,
like a clown chasing you through a moonlit forest.
Sleep deprivation.
Fighting in my sleep- waking up in the middle of the night.
Anxiety
