A Soldiers Gun

Like thunderous bolts falling from the sky
My metal slugs make the ground bend
Causing streaks of red on a tally marker, I count

My use will never end

As long as I am welded and bolted together
With a working and put together soldier holding me
My body will never be at rest

I am still counting
How many people fell, and broke
Sometimes still pieced together
Because of me

I am fed firecrackers from my line of metal
Forced in, desperate
Someone uses me

I shoot thunder
And I count
