Breathe Tonight

I know tonight
I will wake up again
To something so subtle
And reach for you hand

Under the darkness
And deep in the sheets
Theres only one thing
One heart only beats

One breath only breathes
One dream only drempt
To not have you there
Is to be held in contempt

Contempt with my heart
On what needs to be
And that thing is
You next to me

With heart beats and breathing
Hands made as one
A dream meant forever
O god here the sun

Air Assault Infantry

The mission is crazy
Will we come out alive?
The movements are dangerous
Load up lets go

Hop in the back
Gear ready to go
Put down your nods
That’s when you show

You can’t be stopped
You can’t be beat
Tonight’s the night
Where no match you’ll meet

Infantry does it
When no one else can
We all go in
Every time with a plan

We take out our target
We index our men
Takeoff in the air
Then get ready again

Hawaii Goodbye

When past is present
And tomorrows today
How do we know
To live every day?

Because if the sunsets
Then it arise
Through many different
Colorful skies

I can’t tell the difference
Because I’m not that smart
The only thing that gets it
Well that is my heart

It knows where to be
It knows what to say
And it’s only this happy
When you’re not away

Korean Princess

There was a boy
Yes and he loved a girl
Just like the moment
It all was a whirl

He thought her so pretty
Perfect you see
But just like all endings
There’s a story

Was it love at first sight?
Some might do say
But well in the hours
Soon closes day

The moon was rising
And stars did shine
But sleep o sleep
The poor princess whines

So he scooped her up
And took her in tight
Almost together
Every night

A smile a cheer
Till the days seemed shorter
My o my
Did they want them longer

But this is the part
That you must look
It wasn’t this story
That made a book

In a cold December
On a colder day
There was a problem
That came this way

As much as they loved
They knew from the start
There would be a moment
Where they’d have to part

So they laughed they loved
But all is not true
But what really is
Is I’ll always love you

Night On the Water

Here is a story
Here is the truth
I'm ready to go
To let loose
This is the feeling
That you cant choose

My heart is racing
And I feel her touch
I wonder if my heart
Can handle this much

The last night
We met
Was the last night
We kissed
Now here it goes
Are you ready for this

My hearts beating strong
And its getting fast
I finally locked
The door to my past

One more thing
That her kiss
Does bring
Its like a beat
Sort of a ding
Its that one two three
That makes your heart sing

First

The nights are colder
Than they normally are
The streets are empty
Not even a car

As I walked you home
Peaceful and fun
But one more question
That’s never done

Why did I see you?
All of the time
What made me come?
Are you out of your mind?

I simply smile
And look in your eyes
Questions aren’t just
Who what and whys

Questions are things
That time cannot make
Time is not something
That we need to take

So the answer my dear
To the questions you say
Is the reason I smile
On this very day

True Love Is Real

You have to stay low
If you want to shoot high
Just like the stars
That soar through the sky

Wish upon them
Like heavens might
Possibilities endless
What'd you wish tonight?

If you tell me your secret
I'll whisper you mine
Trust me I'll keep it
Everything's fine

Let's keep moving
As we sit in one spot
I'll hold you close
If its cold or not

Nights like these
Should never end
Lets get going
To these feelings we tend

I look in your eyes
As the moon shines in
Oh here we go
Hearts racing again

You smile so softly
Words come out
You wished for this moment
With out a doubt

I smiled right back
And simply said
Am I sleeping
Or am I dead

I wished for this moment
But I wished for much more
I wished for the moment
Many times before

Where you're in my arms
And I am in yours
Just like the rain
My heart only pours

I finally found comfort
It's in all that you do
My wish was simple
I simply want you

Always, forever
And all in between
I hope you get it
I say what I mean

I loved you then
And I love you now
I don't have a reason
No I don't know how

But it all came together
In a way that was meant
Fate broke some rules
That destiny bent

I kiss your lips
As the sun starts to rise
Every morning I'll kiss you
When I open my eyes

You let out a giggle
With words that rang true
I know what you mean
And I'll always love you

Summers Rain

Within these clouds
Holds the rain
Holds the memories
Even holds some pain

Days like these
Nights from before
Time for freedom
Just open the door

Down comes the flood
One by one
Never say never
Till the rain is done

Every drop is
A moment in time
As the memories race
Throughout my mind

They take me back
To a summer ago
Where time went fast
When we wanted it slow

The smell of the beach
The taste of the sea
In that moment
Where I want to be

The stars are alive
I’m holding your hand
Fire in your eyes
Our feet in the sand

These are the moments
That means so much
Our lips in the rain
As they gently touch

Summer Song

Listen here darling
Don't get me wrong
We all have our summer
And we all have a song

Mine just started
When someone hit play
I can hear the words
That they sing and they say

They make me dance
And they make me sing
I want the song
From summer not spring

When I look in your eyes
And don't say a word
But the song is what
We both heard

Over and over
Again and again
dancing closer
No longer friends

Now listen here darling
Don't get me wrong
I want you
To be my song

Soldier

There is a soldier
Who’s willing to fight
This is the soldier
Who goes through the night

Who puts on a battle
Inside and out
That keeps it all in
When others would start

He does what he’s told
Wrong or right
But there’s something different
That’s in his sight

It’s in his mind it’s in his heart
She’s as pretty as
She is smart

She is golden
Pure as can be
I thank God
He sent her for me

With out her I don’t know
What I would do
Because with her
Soon follows you

Into my arms
And I shed a tear
Because I love my family
A reason I’m here

I snap back
And look through my scope
Thank God for my country
It gives me some hope

A hope for life
That I can hold
Here we go love
I’m truly sold
