Soldier
There is a soldier
Who’s willing to fight
This is the soldier
Who goes through the night
Who puts on a battle
Inside and out
That keeps it all in
When others would start
He does what he’s told
Wrong or right
But there’s something different
That’s in his sight
It’s in his mind it’s in his heart
She’s as pretty as
She is smart
She is golden
Pure as can be
I thank God
He sent her for me
With out her I don’t know
What I would do
Because with her
Soon follows you
Into my arms
And I shed a tear
Because I love my family
A reason I’m here
I snap back
And look through my scope
Thank God for my country
It gives me some hope
A hope for life
That I can hold
Here we go love
I’m truly sold
