The One You Love

THE ONE YOU LOVED

Do you ever sit and wonder what your life would be like
one day when the one you love passes away.

It scares me so much cuz you won't get to hear them say
how much they love you and never want you to go away.

That smiling face that brightens your day won't be there for
   you to see one day.

The hugs and the way they held you so tight will only be a
memory you holding your heart at night.

That person that was there when no one else was the person
   you said you loved.

That person you said made you cry that day now all you can
say is maybe you'll see them again someday.

You'll be sad and alone no one calls you on the phone cuz
they are busy with lives of their own.

You look out the window And no one is there to come and
ask if you wanna go somewhere.

You used to go fishing but it aint no fun cuz you remember
the memories you made with that one.

You feel a tear roll down your cheek and you know you'll
never catch a peak of them doing something dumb like they
   did that week.

Then the tears start to roll you start losing control no hugs
no kisses no laughter no more cuz the one you fought with
that day has long gone they died and went away.

You wish you could take back that day ,that day the one you
loved went away with pain in their heart from the words that
were said over some dumb little thing that left you with only
   your self to blame.

So always think when the one you love walks away, say I love
   you and things are okay.
