Untitled

Inhale and exhale and
I am sitting, I’m thinking and I am dreaming away
Away to my favourite place - outer space
I’m happy, I’m singing I am having a ball
I bounce around in the back of my throat
There’s a lump where I chill
It’s where I take a seat
When I am tired from all the bouncing around in
My throat how it scratches and cries out for me to just stop
Stop the toxins stop the pain
Stop using me for your own game
Stop bouncing, stop dreaming, wake up
But I cant because I like it
I love it at that
For the high is more real than the fact

Screw Nail

My half twists and quarter turns are really starting to screw me
I sort of saw it coming though really
I mean one can only turn so many times until suddenly they are six feet under
And me, well
I was twisting and turning too much too fast
And even quite possibly too soon
I lost track of everything
Time and space, idle communication, dissonant rhymes
Everything
I lost it
I lost it all and screwed myself
I am so twisted I’m crazy
Crazy enough to try and twist around the quarter turns and spin back out?
Back up out of the ground
Up at least over my eyes so I can see
I am confident, I’m content
Who am I kidding?
I’m screwed and now I’m bent
Out of shape, unable to twist
No way can I turn
While I was down here I have been stomped and kicked
Actually beaten over the head
By a hard metal hammer head headed for the floor
Did I mention I am screwed?
