The Bullingdon Club

The Bullingdon Club

In the hallowed halls of Oxford's elite,
A secret society did convene,
A gathering of privileged retreat,
A club known as the Bullingdon team.

With tails and bow ties and polished shoes,
They swigged their champagne and plowed their way,
Through the city's streets, with no excuse,
Causing damage that others would pay.

Their laughter and shouts filled the air,
As they smashed their glasses and tipped their plates,
Their wealth and power beyond compare,
A reckless display of their estate.

Their arrogance reeked of entitlement,
As they wreaked havoc with their brawn,
A display of wealth and refinement,
With no regard for the damage they wrought upon.

For they were the privileged few,
Born with silver spoons in their mouths,
Their actions were beyond review,
And their behavior beyond any doubts.

The Bullingdon Club still reigns,
A reminder of the power of the few,
Of how wealth and privilege retains,
An insidious grip on the world's view.

So let us strive to topple this regime,
To dismantle this system and rebuild anew,
For the world deserves a just and fair esteem,
Where all have the right to thrive and pursue.

The Power of Insight

The Power of Insight

Deep within my soul's abode,
I seek a wisdom download.
Answers to my questions flow,
As I quiet my mind's chateau.

The universe speaks through my core,
Releasing insights, evermore.
My doubts and fears begin to fade,
As I embrace the power of this trade.

Guidance flows from the cosmic sea,
And a newfound truth sets me free.
With each breath, I feel it grow,
A gift of insight, now aglow.

The universe's knowledge is vast,
And through this gift, I am surpassed.
A wisdom download, pure and bright,
Filling my being with its light.

With each new insight that I receive,
My soul is nourished, anew to believe.
A gift that's endless, full and grand,
Guiding me with a steady hand.

So let us open our hearts and minds,
And let this wisdom download unwind.
Embrace the power and insight it brings,
And let it lift our spirits with its wings.

They Say He's a Loser

They think he's a loser, shrouded in shame,
A nameless face in the endless game.
But beneath the surface, where stories diverge,
A hero awaits, on the verge to emerge.

His trials unseen, his battles unspoken,
A heart unyielding, though bruised and broken.
He walks alone, embraced by the night,
Yet carries within a fire burning bright.

They scoff and sneer, blind to his plight,
But he knows his worth, his internal fight.
For every stumble, a step towards grace,
A journey unfolds at his own pace.

They think he's a loser, but little they know,
He's a warrior fierce, with courage that grows.
He'll rise from the ashes, his story untold,
To conquer the world, and his destiny, unfold.

Spreading Happiness

S-owing seeds of positivity in every heart
P-aving way for a brighter tomorrow, a fresh start
R-adiating smiles and warmth, spreading cheer
E-ngaging in acts of kindness, year after year
A-iming to make the world a happier place
D-ancing with joy, wearing a happy face
I-gniting hope, where there is despair
N-urturing relationships, showing that we care
G-ifting the gift of happiness, spreading it wide

H-eralding a feeling that uplifts the soul
A- heartwarming emotion that makes us whole
P-ermeating through every inch of our being
P-ositivity and joy, it endows, freeing
I-nfectious and exuberant, it spreads like fire
N-urturing relationships, it brings us closer
E-uphoric and exhilarating, it fuels our desire
S-avoring life's moments, making memories fonder
S-haring it with others, increasing its worth
S-oaking in the happiness, that life brings forth.

Because I Live

Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it. -Charles R. Swindoll.

BECAUSE I LIVE

Because I live, I dare to dream,
To chase the stars, to reach their gleam,
To never give up, to always scheme,
To make the impossible a living theme.

Because I live, I won't give in,
To the doubts that hold me within,
To the fears that make my head spin,
To the darkness that tries to win.

Because I live, I'll make a stand,
For what I believe, for what's at hand,
To fight injustice, to heal this land,
To make a difference, to take command.

Because I live, I'll spread my light,
To those in need, in the darkest night,
To bring hope, to make things right,
To make love the guiding light.

Because I live, I'll never forget,
Those who came before, who paid their debt,
Their sacrifice, their courage set,
The foundation for the world we get.

Because I live, I'll leave a mark,
A legacy of love, not just a spark,
A life lived true, not just a lark,
A journey of joy, not just a stark.

Because I live, I dare to be,
Everything I can, everything to see,
To live my truth, and to set it free,
To be the best version of me.

In the Land of Enchantment

IN THE LAND OF ENCHANTMENT

Once upon a time, in a land far away
There lived a world of magic and play
A fairytale for children to escape and dream
Where the impossible was more than it seemed

Enchanted forests full of fairy lights
Flying carpets, unicorns and dragon flights
Wizards casting spells with a flick of their wand
Mermaids swimming in the depths of the pond

There were princes and princesses, brave and true
Fighting dragons and monsters, even a witch or two
The heroes and heroines all had a quest
To save their kingdoms and prove themselves the best

Friendship, love, and kindness ruled the realm
A world of wonder, where anything was at the helm
A place of hope, where dreams could be found
Where courage and imagination knew no bound

In this fairytale for children, there was always a happy end
Where good always triumphed, and evil would bend
A world of magic, where anything was possible
A place to cherish, a land to inspire and marvel.

Liz Sherman

Liz Sherman

From the world of Hellboy comics came,
A woman with flames, Liz Sherman was her name,
A pyrokinetic, her powers set aflame,
A tortured soul, forever in shame.

Her past was dark, filled with pain,
A tragic childhood, an unhealed stain,
A firestarter, never to reign,
Her inner demons, she could not contain.

But with Hellboy, she found a home,
A family in the Bureau, she was not alone,
Protecting the world, her powers shone,
A hero in her own right, her courage known.

Through battles fought, her strength arose,
Conquered her fears, her light exposed,
A beacon of hope, her power now chose,
The good in her heart, forever shows.

So here's to Liz, and her fiery might,
Her struggles and triumphs, a shining light,
A woman of power, an inspiring sight,
In the world of comics, her story takes flight.

Magnificent Earth

MAGNIFICENT EARTH

As an alien, I have witnessed many worlds,
But Earth is unlike anything I've ever seen.
Its vibrant colors and fresh aroma unfurl,
And majestic landscapes, a sight for anyone keen.

The seas are vast and blue,
A home to endless creatures, big and small.
The mountains, towering and true,
A testament to Earth's magnificence overall.

The skies are adorned with picturesque clouds,
And the sun, a life-giving, lustrous star.
The moon, serene and tranquil, it shrouds
The Earth in a blanket of light, near and far.

Forests, a kaleidoscope of green,
Are abundant with life and wonder.
Creatures hiding in every niche and scene,
A harmonious ensemble, a world so tender.

Humans, the dominant species,
Thriving in vast cities and towns.
A curious and ambitious race, confident and prestigious,
With science and art, they wear the Earth's crown.

So, as an alien, I stand in awe,
Of this planet's beauty and diversity.
With each passing moment, I see more to adore,
For Earth is a true masterpiece of nature's creativity.

Into the Abyss

Into the Abyss

Death, a journey we all make,
Into the abyss for heaven's sake,
A final breath, life's thread will break,
And all earthy ties shall forever shake.

The Reaper's scythe cuts through time,
A fate we cannot help but climb,
A one-way trip, a life sublime,
Our souls departing, to the unknown chime.

The grief of loved ones left behind,
Proving that death is not so kind,
Lost in memories, tears unrefined,
Their shattered hearts a difficult bind.

Yet death is not the end, they say,
A new beginning, another way,
Our souls ascend, towards the light's ray,
Reborn to a new world, a new heart's sway.

So when death comes to knock on our door,
We need not fear, nor dread it more,
For beyond it lies a new shore,
A place of peace, forevermore.

Digital Cruelty

Digital Cruelty

Digital Cruelty is the term we use
To describe the vile act of cyberbullying
It's a cowardly way to abuse

With words they never would say in a sling
People hide behind computer screens
To cause pain and suffering with their typing

Victims are left to deal with the means
Of cyberbullies who never show their face
Their anonymity is what really deems

This behavior as a disgrace
For it's easier to hit send than to confront
But the damage inflicted should never be erased

It's time to take a stand, to be blunt
And teach our children how to respect
For Digital Cruelty is more than just a stunt

It's a serious issue we must correct
Before it leads to a tragic effect.
