Lonely Path of Love

Broken & torn my heart has become,
from games of love that twist & bend,
my heart dragged through the path of love,
jagged and windy all through to the end,
a breeze embraced the barren ground ,
this blood stained trail that gatherd dust,
I moved forward but didnt move on ,
no hand to reach out to and no one to trust,
a darkened cloud hovered over me ,
as nothingness grew near without a sound,
my heart began to feel such pain,
as these souls shadowd the dusty ground,
with every step my knees grew weak,
through the narrow way that was so steep,
I continued to believe and hope for the better,
untill i was caught in this trap so deep,
heartbroken ...lonely and in chains,
exhausted from all those mindless games,
I sit alone in a pool of blood & dust all alone ..no one to trust,
all alone no one to listen,
as I struggle from what binds me to the floor,
the pain ..the games ..the hurt and sorrow,
I just cant take it anymore,
I touch the crimson red stained floor with my fingertips,
and with a sigh I close my eyes ,
I no longer feel the warmth of love,
just angry bitter empty lies.

Between the Sheets

The flicker of the candles flame,
Illuminated the moisture on his skin,
As he stood at the end of the bed,
Looking down at her,
His eyes piercing through the sheets,
Sheets that pressed against her silky skin,
Wrapping around the very curves of her body,
She bit her lip in excitement running her tongue along her bottom lip,
Pulling at the sheets ..inviting him in with her sparkling eyes of jade,
Running her hands under the sheets..pulling them up her thighs,
He comes close to her running his hands along her bare shoulders,
She arches her back and pulls herself in closer to his chest,
Pressing his body against her wrapping her in his embrace,
She runs her hands gently down his bare chest and up his arms,
Softly caressing his neck while pulling him in for a deep passionate kiss,
Then presses her chest against his after pulling the sheet away from her bare skin,
Pushing him down and wrapping her legs around his waist,
Pressing her hips against his....while running her hands up his chest slowly,
Pulling his hips into hers....while she runs her hands down his arms,
Feeling his warm ...moist skin against hers...she moans in anticipation...

Grip of Love

Needing something to strengthen my heart,
To thicken the walls of its fragile exterior,
As my heart lay in your hands,
Trusting you with everything precious to me,
You squeeze so tightly time and time again,
Then release it just before it breaks,
Until it's almost better again,
And just as my trust and strength increases,
You tighten your grip and take hold again,
Crushing the walls of trust you've built,
I hesitate this time like the others before,
To trust you, love you & give you all I have,
Hoping that this time you won't squeeze,
Hoping to many walls aren't broken,
So many that next times all I have will break,
Leaving in your hand a debris of rubble,
Rubble of ALL that is precious to me,
in the hands of one that said they "loved" me.

Dream In the Sand

She gazed off into the distance,
Just as the sea was consuming the last bit of the golden sun,
She was nestled in the sand while listening to the silence in the waves,
So many nights on the beach she sat alone...wishing for a sound,
A sound other than her own breath...her own heartbeat,
Tonight was different...unlike any other night that had come before,
To her surprise...one heartbeat turned into two...then three...and four,
Beating a playful rhythm...beating in sync...echoing within her chest,
The sound was deafening ...it rumbled the very core of her soul,
The sound became louder...the beating faster....closer,
She turned in anticipation...was she alone...was it her imagination,
Had her dreams created this being....this creature...this dream,
In the flesh...he sat next to her staring into her eyes...breaking her gaze,
The beams of light bouncing off the ocean onto his heavenly face,
His eyes sparkling so brightly...mimicking the crystal of the ocean mist,
His lips soft....like the brush of the evenings breeze against her skin,
His arms strong ...like the heavy waves crashing into the rocks,
She longed for his embrace....reaching out to touch him...to see if he was real.

Fairytale

Flipping through the book of life,
Thumbing through it page by page,
Day after day I continue to wait,
Year after year I continue to age,
Each page I read slowly while Looking for signs,
Did I miss something in between lines,
Where is my fairytale and when will it begin,
I read through the past again and again,
Searching for something that I may have missed,
A feeling a moment a hug or a kiss,
Did I have it and lose it or is it a chapter unread,
A story of past or a story ahead,
For now I'll flip through and read line after line,
Search through each chapter and wait for the time,
Where I get to the part where I get to the words,
Where I hear that "I love you" and a song from the birds,
Where this chapter ends and the new one begins,
Where life is about only loved ones and friends,
Together forever from just one " I do"
Together forever that starts from "I Love You"

Reaching

I reach out my hand so slow and soft,
Hesitation in my eyes but love in my heart,
I shy away so he does not see,
The heartache and pain that hides in me,
I reach for his touch...not just an embrace,
I look in his eyes with a smile on my face,
Seeking comfort....love...behind the strength,
How weaken my heart has become,
Oh how the road of life can twist and bend,
Wanting to feel the warmth of love again,
Can he love past the hurt,
Can he see past the pain,
Can he see all the light,
Through the dark clouds of rain.

Tomorrow

Fuzzy distant landscape,
Ticking time unseen ahead,
Things and goals not yet done,
Deep thoughts not out loud even said,
Roads and paths of your future life,
That branch off at places and split in two,
One road something you just cant see,
One leading to things you never knew,
Circumstances for each branching path,
As the path behind you fades away,
Disintegrate at your heels,
Leading you to a brand new day.
