There’s beauty buried beneath the place beyond the pines

Inhale the regrets

And breathe out the lies

Time after time

As time goes by

The silence it kills

But for me I’m just fine

There’s beauty in the silence

Long nights with a dream

But it seems, I’m defeated by the violence

Dreams

Where do I start

Where am I gonna take it

I think I’m destined for this

I can’t shake it

But to believe in things I can’t see

Well destiny is much bigger 

Guess it’s time to embrace it

So I talk in this perspective 

You get further in life when you’re calm and collected 

I had some time 

To find some peace of mind

So next time you show yourself 

Reveal someone they never expected

Who knew it was written

He did all my life man who are we kidding

Pain driven

Hidden with bad decisions

But that’s all in the past

No looking; it’s a new beginning

Replenished

These new thoughts are the new me

Somewhere I lost and forgot these feelings

Of confidence

Or the spark an open mind can bring 

Of happiness when you start trying new things

Instead of buying new things

I’d rather take her time and eat wings

And show the world what you get

When you set your mind to your dreams

Need to discover parts of me I never knew

Don’t wanna go through this life saying I never grew

I wanna live

There’s so much that I can give

But I’m learning about patience and seeing my life from a different view 

And what I give is only what I receive

Looking forward to the future 

I’d like to see it work out

But fear can’t be my ruler

And God can’t be my doubt

Looking back on my past

Just to cling to some laughs

Just to cling to some moments where I thought it would last 

Some things were never certain, and maybe they’ll never be

But the worst thing is a closed curtain

Cause where’s your focus if you can’t see

One day at a time

There’s enough peace for the moment

There’s faith for the future, and love with people to be shown it
