Home

Serene and breath taking.
I close my eye's and what do I see?
Those blue Kentucky hills staring back at me.
The wind singing through the trees.
The murky lake water cold on my toes.
Soft blue grass beneath my feet, tears fill my eyes.
I am home, I am free.
Take a deep breath of that fresh country air,
dazzled by the wild stallion dancing throught the breeze.
The rain pours down like crystals from the sky,
caressing each petal to an orange glow as the sun slowly fades.
Music and singing picking that guitar,
dirty jokes while the bud light quickly disappears.
Loving laughter over an open flame,
fresh fried cat fish and peach cobbler are to blame.
Look around everyone is here,
good laughter, good times, good cheer.
I close my eye's and what do I see?
My ole Kentucky home staring back at me.

Secret Love

Pull me close, don't ever let me go.
     Share your sweet, soft kisses,
     Baby make my heart melt.
Passion burning like electricity in our eyes,
pulse beating wildly with eager expectation.
Wrapped in a blanket of vanilla and bare skin.
     Touching,
     Teasing,
     Tasting,
sending shivers up and down our spine.
     Breathless and out of breath,
become one over and over again.
Fire burning between us with soft moans and strong grasps.
One last breath as we escape into a concealed love,
                      Finally released...

Unspoken (Please Read)

I sit, crumbled on the icey bathroom floor, shivering, head between my knees
fighting off the nausea. Sobbing Lost, Alone, Ashamed... gasping for breath,
burning from the inside out. Silent Screams fill my lungs bursting to release,
needing to rid the disgust! Broken, Battered my heart torn to pieces,
each tear like a cold blade down my fiery cheeks. Nails digging deeper into my palms,
Crimson Cresent Moons show my Pain. You look at me and Smile with those Cold, Lying
eyes. PIG! MONSTER! HOW! WHY! OH GOD WHY! I wish to scream at your Ugly Face!
I continue on suddle locked in my prision. Flashbacks that make me Nauseaus,
Cringing inside. Tears that haunt me, reminding me at night. The aching in my
heart Hollow and Stale. Tho I walk, you have stolen the Innocence of Life from me.

I would like to dedicate this to all the Women, to all the Children and yes even to
all the Men who are or who have been victims of sexual abuse. Every 2.5 minutes
a woman in sexually abused. To all my Brothers and Sisters, to the Torn and Aching Hearts
stay strong, one day our tears will be heard.

Love,
Ashley

Madness.....

Nausea overwhelming.
     Hands desperately grasping my pen.
Body trembling trying not to overheat.
Mind blaring, eye's burning from unshed tears.
My heart ready to leap from my chest and make a run for it.
Here I stand frozen, lost in Woderland.
Two doors in front of me but which one do I choose?
What Do I DO!? What should I do...?
All eyes fixed on me, ready for judgement.
Win or lose? What will she do?
What will she choose?
Insane, sanity presented to me with a cup of tea.
One lump or two and would you like cream with your confusion?
Time frozen inside as the world continues to fly by.
Boggled and Tangled, Torn and Bleeding, Lost in the Land of the Great Unknown.
Silent whispers accuse, haunting my every move as noone's lips move.
Shallow breathing and exhaustion.
Lost in painful conflict unsure of what to do.
Right or left, red or blue, this path or that either way I shall pay my dues...
Tangled in this trickey web, lives and love continue surrounding me.
Everyone talks but noone hears.
You may know me but do you see me,
and you may see me but do you know me?
What do you see, what do you know?
What should I do... What will I do?

Dancing In the Rain

I close my eye's and imagine you.
My mind is set free and my heart races.
Your eye's sparkle in the moon light,
deep and full of life.
Your stong arms embracing our bodies together,
forcing the heat of our passion through wet clothes.

BREATHLESS,
as your sweet smokey kisses take me away.
We sway along through the rain drops,
gliding across the mirror of stars glittering above.
Dancing to the beat of our Heart,
and the chiming of the rain falling like a curtain around us.

LOOKING into your eye's I can see my life.
FEELING you against me, I am at peace.
TOGETHER at last, I am Free.

Good-Bye Again

I say good-bye to you my love,
I say good-bye again.
For there are no harder words to say,
that we keep putting off again and again.
Broken hearts and tear stained faces,
holding on for dear life.
I say good-bye to you my love,
I say good-bye my friend.
Sleepless nights and tear stained letters,
praying for the dawn.
Holding you in my heart as close as I can get,
until you return again.
I say good-bye to your my love,
I say good-bye once again.

The Adventures of a New Mother

We all have had our moments with our children.... Especially the messy moments... The
diapers so full of poo that it is almost gooshing out... Yea gross I know, especially if you are
a first time mother.... These experiences are one of many more to come... To my surprise
this morning as I was playing on the computer (myspace) Paying no mind to my 7 almost 8
month old son Trevor playing quietly in the living room. Thinking all was good and clear...
Thought I had absolutely baby proofed everything.... All the sudden I heard a cry and I didnt
see my son hiding behind his bouncer in the corner... Niave me so so niave thinking he is
just stuck and is fussing because he cannot figure out how to get out of the corner.... (Don't I
wish).... As I peer around the corner there sits my son with two big fists full of dog poo...
Covered from head to toe and luckly if you want to call it luck it might have just been the
smell that convinced my son not to put his hands in his mouth... I just stood there looking in
amazment how did I miss that, OMG look at my son, OMG is that my son.......? So i run over
pick him up under his arms holding him out before he can get a hold of more than he already
has... My hands are full I bang my head against my Mom's bedroom door telling her to come
help... She comes out and just laughs ( Thanx mom) after having her moment of hurmor we
put him in the tub clothes, diaper and all and just start wiping off all the poo... Me half gaging
my son just sits there playing so innocently... After cleaning off the poo we strip him down
and stick him in the sink run clean water with LOTS of bubbles.... I mean LOTS! I had to get
rid of the smell... Soaking the rag in Johnson & Johnson baby soap I start to clean my son...
He just looks up at me with those big beautiful blue Trevor eyes and smiles....

Anniversary

Velvet petals scattered on the floor. The shadows dancing on the wall as the flames of the
candle light flicker. The room is a soft glow, sweet vanilla flowing through out the room.
Silent music plays as he eagerly w a i t s....
Looking up and there she is standing wrapped in lace, a soft halo of light surrounding her. His
heart s-k-i-p-s a beat as he almost forgets to breathe. Soft, dark brown hair surrounds lovely
green eyes as she crawls upon the silk sheets. She meets his golden eagle eyes as their soft
skin presses together in a
                                      slow,
                                      passionate,
                                      deep,
kiss. Losing themselves in such a sweet, simple moment but expecting so much more.
The rise and fall of their bodies in unison. The sweet music of love filling the air. Hearts
beating faster, breathless as beads of sweat slide down smooth skin. The flames rise in a
sudden burst of passion, then slowly die down to a seductive dance.
Your eyes meet mine and my eyes meet yours, we smile ready for round two and many
more to go... You are there and I am here, counting down the days until we can celebrate, 7-
7-07 our lucky numbers. I love you Baby.

Sorrow

Sorrow in my heart, pain in my life.
My poor, tear filled eyes.
Why, why have you left me here to die?
I can't let go, and I can not hang on.
Trembling fingers, blood shot eyes,
you, yes you, you was my life, my soul!
Now your just dust, fading memories,
but the pain, the horrid pain remains.
No relief in sight, only tears, only pain.
Will no one show me the way?
The way home, the light to ease my sorrowful heart.
No of course not, only abandoment, betrail,
you, yes all of you, you all have left me here to DIE!
All alone in my pain, my sorrow,
all alone in my head while my heart tells me lies!
Sorrow in my heart, pain in my life.

Love?

My mind is racing, unsure which way to go. Logic or love, Love or logic?
My heart beats faster as you walk near, my hands start to shake and my
legs are a quiver. Looking into your brilliant eyes, my chest grows heavy
and my mouth is dry. Breathless and confused, OH... what do I do? What do I do?
Looking up into the heavens praying for rain so that you may not see the
tear drops running down my face. Someone save me! Please don't let me fall,
the ground is moving from beneath my feet. Too late, there you are.
Smiling like my miracle and my heart is yours once again.
Love or logic? Logic or love?
