Bed of Lies

Freedom startles me
Since fear is encircled behind your beds of lies
Acclaimed messiah plays a game with you
Compelling you to be the pawn in your competition

Every drop of his utterances counts
As my blood bubbles
With no pale to be submerged into
Yet, I could bath with it.

No one is your saviour
They are just a pollution
Without no solution
And breaking limits

They say everything happens for a reason
Perhaps reason itself is a person.

Ambivalent

AMBIVALENT
The swallowing of a morsel can't be justified
If the stomach still hurts.
Scorpion– the shining demon,
who doesn't stop until it’s quashed
applauds as it was filled with goosebumps.

A dog with two tails–yet barks,
and they say the future of the unknown
Is seen by Accompaniment of tears with personal growth.
Yet– the flame went down through us.

Come rain or shine,
A new Renaissance needs to be found
To a land proposed with happiness
In a wide dark bush filled with bitter leaf.

Yeh! the old Renaissance
The assumed room temperature was hugged.
some bellied up while a few fell on the wrong side of the grass.
Who knows!
If I will bite the dust before then!

Time flies like an arrow
No money– yet parties flowed like never before
No Food– yet waste bins overflowed with food remnants
Nothing to write home about
But bittersweetness is to be remembered

Peace be unto us that made it,
To that decade we never thought we could overcome
Surely another mountain shall stand against an egg,
Enthralling to see the new resolution.

Uncle Patience and His Wife

PATIENCE AND IMPATIENCE.

Patience is morality they say,
That: does not function with a noblewoman whose man is far away.
Won't she alleviate her fever with another man?
Perhaps the one who is not apt of being with her.

Impatience they say wrecks commodity
Not when they slap your father in your presence
And you say, patience is life.
You shall be tagged a bastard.

This life has its own vices.
Patience works when needed
Yet, impatience complements your patience when you are off guard.
For, the world is filled with evildoers.

Patience cools things down
While uncertainty makes things aggravate.
Yet, Impatience solves a case in the court
For when an attorney is too cool, he is tagged as a lout.

Love Language

My love for language is the best
Yet my love for her goes far mile than that.
She lightens my heart with her smile
Even when in the nighttime, I see through her heart.

She is that- subsisting
Who makes me feel healed when drained.

I recollect the night devoured with her.
Her eyes flicker more than a diamond
Her lips are far more seducing than the pinkies
Her figure might not be the best but triggers me to the right
Her smooth pointers make me feel warm
Even in the harmattan season,
I feel I am covered in an air-conditioned season with her

I shall pronounce not her inscription,
For I know not who she is owned by
She is my conviction
For I confide in her
Even the peacock is not as peaceful as she is
Yet, She bears the name

Camped

CAMPED

 I am from a corn-tree
where people are divided into three
yet, ethnicity is seen as salvation.
he alone will get us away from molestation

The youth are dying every minute
for their loyalty in exchange for peanuts.
no one is here to RISE TO COMPATRIOT.
yet they make us think they are patriots

We deviate from norms
Just to face more harms
From the so-called leaders
Who are cheaters

You and I are in bondage
Since our voices have been held, hostage
In our fathers land
No one dares demand or stand,
against those who feed us one congo of rice
Since our emotions have been played like a dice

Alas! One day I hope we have a story to tell
To that unborn seed of how we fell.

Lady Called Leenah

A Lady Called LEENAH

Life is like a narration, try narrating your words at times to give your audience full gist and update-AFOLALEKAN

Alas! I have been to the north
looking for a lady with Kayamanta
Just for her to be the mata
I went to the south
then to the east
without leaving aside the west,
yet still I couldn't find the one

A second I glanced through a lady,
sleeping in a bus
with her smile coupled with her radiated twilight face.
A Casanova I said I was
Despite with a lady
whom I thought I have seen it all with
Then I realized her name-Leenah

A lady who's smile is angellically beautful
Her lips were fanimorous for licking
and her-laps I know not much
but the little I know
she's endowed with two oranges
quite okay for breakfast
a rejuvenated arse yummy for dinner.

Yena! only God knows where she is from
I couldn't take my eyes off her
but could see her being mine.

You all wonder why I say so.
she's an attention seeker
then I shall become the seeker
giving her what she seeks
so I can have her to myself.

If not as a life partner, perhaps as Viber.
immediately, I make Intel's of her
then I realized she is not just an ordinary girl.
but extraordinary to the core
she's a lioness
among hyena
a drama queen
within expert
and a lover at fault
A lady-Leenah is her name.
