A Ballerina of Blue

A ballerina
 blissfully bended
in blue
reaches out
 into the
overbearing
embrace of
empty space .
Hopelessly
hankering for
the fondness
 of a familiar face
to set all her
life’s pieces
back into
place .

The Broken Record

The only
lesson
 I have learned
is that
everything
was meant
to burn .
Leaving in
it’s ashes
the repeating
rueful record
that’s
always stuck
on one track.
Puttering
out those
once persistent
fervent feelings .
 Which makes you
yearn for her
in your
arms again.

But love is just
Like a record .
When it’s broken you can never
truly get it back
 to what it once was.

The Mollified Man

The meekly
mollified man
subtly sews
his silently
simplistic sights
upon reality’s
rickety rufescent light .
Always left
lifelessly looming
beneath the brain’s
bashfully blurred
background
of benevolence.
Frankly flickering out
the faded flaws
whose firm
factual flames
of effectiveness
have by now
grimly grown
themselves
out of Life’s
limp lashes
of limelight .
Solemnly swearing
their silent
silken seas
of sorrow
into the
sulking sands
of insignificance .

Soft Spoken Strokes

Several
soft spoken
strokes grazing against
the cool
contented
crest
winsomely
woven with
withering white.
Nurturing a
newborn
ambition
for light.
That boldly
begins burning
out it’s passionate
pale plume
of a plea .
Which is
always seen
reaching out
towards an
reluctant
royal reverie .
Whom is
too afraid to
walk amongst reality .

The Invisible Vagabond

The silent soul
who sullenly
seeps within
the sentimental
seas of solitude.
Always lead astray
by every
passing day.
Just to remain
amongst the stars.
Striding through
time’s strangled streams
of faintly
faded dreams.
Embedded beneath
the once blue
eyed beams of an
embittered beauty.

Mended In Art

The man who
hides his heedful
heart within
the sanguine
seams of his
solemn art.

The Unheard Hound

The hurriedly hushed
hound who
passionately persists
 to pant and pound
out his hazy half hummed howl
holding its pale painted
point into view .
Wishing that each
and every word
would be like
a blissful
bird of buoyant blue.
 Gracefully growing
up firm fresh
and free.

Fully flying off
into someone
 else’s ears
to tenderly
tell his heart
  touched tales
trembling within
life’s trampled
 trails of tears .
Forever frozen within
The flashing fragility of fear.

The Frigid Finch

I Silently sipping the last limping remains of wine
within the crumbling confines of my glass.
guiltlessly glistening in the amorous arms of evergreen.
Lonesomely, my eyes lift themselves
up from my blackened
blue brass bottle of bitterness
and gradually grows aware
of the arid aristocratic atmosphere.
Lustered with the luminous larks
who lurk within the numbing neon
nature of the iridescent nightlife.
But among these unfruitful flocks
feebly flutters the faint fanciful feathers of the frigid finch.

Who still sternly staggers his weakened way through the
world’s wishful
word woven woodlands of what if towards the eternally
terminal edge
of mortality.
In search of an answer
patiently perched upon the topic of
what light lingers within the relieving realms of truth.

The Reflection of Time

Time is only
 a continuous
mocking mirror
 that forever
reflects
back to when
your feebleminded
feet timidly took those
first noble steps
down that
 illustrious isle
towards intimacy .
But then your mind
murmurs back into the
pitiful present realms of reality.
Leaving you
 to cower
 and cry
still wondering
where the time went by .

Days of the Darkened Dove

But as we begin
to break down
and burn
We will wistfully
watch and learn
that in this lifeline
you’ll have to
be a
dismally
darkened dove.
Left to let go
of the one
thing you’ve
ever loved.
As you raise
your weakly
whitened
wings to fly
into the
numbing unknown
nature of
the nurturing
night sky.
