A Ballerina of Blue

A ballerina 
 blissfully bended 
in blue
reaches out
 into the 
overbearing 
embrace of  
empty space .
Hopelessly
hankering for 
the fondness
 of a familiar face 
to set all her  
life’s  pieces 
back into 
place .
