Vaibhav Sharma Poem
I'm only 17, balancing my love,
and brightening my future...
17 the age where the life's so easy,
but still it has the turbulence.
Friends leave and the new comers
are expected to be frank...
The nights always seem more peaceful,
than the morning bliss.
Feelings fly through skies,
but never taking too long to comeback.
We're expected to behave like adults,
but still a kid, having curious questions lingering.
A age where the trust does not easily fades,
even if we're being played constantly.
The bloods flow high as to explode,
and sometimes the wrong decisions leads to the right ones.
Promises of being friends forever,
never thinking eventually we will get apart in future.
The age when you find your first love,
but sometimes it leads to an unexpected heartbreak.
Trying to overcome and to forgive and forget,
the hardest tasks of all times, you will never regret.
The rumours does not cross the minds, it stays there,
until a stream of holy water, washes away all the demons...
The unexpected happens everytime, but the expected never,
it teaches something and the scars last forever.
Listening to the sad lyrics has another level of pleasure,
it reaches within and stimulate the healing.
Breakup of Camila and Shawn hurts more than ours,
diving into the deep seas and mood swings under the warm shower.
Opening one strand leads to four more knots,
there's confusion to whatever is done, but still helpful.
I'm only 17, solving the crosswords on my own,
under the tree, giving me the shade to overcome...
