Call It a Date

Overrated roses,
ornamental garden.
Filled with sunflowers,
Jewels fallen on the ground.
A garland for your hair,
Alongside a promise ring.
Like the sun to the sunflowers,
You are my solace.
Golden evening,
Wandering around...
Call it a date.

Starry night,
Vivid sky.
Just you and me,
Beneath the stars.
Stargazing...
Call it a date.

At a café,
You and me.
A cold coffee,
Or a ginger tea.
Like a milk beverage,
mixed like ingredients,
sticking together...
Call it a date.

From sunrise,
to sunset,
stay with me.
On a beach,
staring at the sea.
Leaving footprints
in the sand of time,
To never look back...
Call it a date.

Moon

Showered with moonlight,
Glistening waves of the ocean
Depth that haunts me yet
The waves never fail to attract me.

Just like we're scared and yet
Drawn to death
What we call life
Is subjective.

For someone, it's to enjoy
For someone, it's suffering.
For me, whatever I felt a while ago
Or whatever I'll feel afterwards.

Random outbursts of emotions,
Be it happy or sad
For most part, I either think too hard
or avoid the question
What really is life.

Putting my thoughts away,
Snapping back to reality...

The chilly wind feels so good
I'm just dazed by the gleaming light
Of this full blue moon.

I wonder If the moon
ever feels lonely
Or craves for warmth
In these long cold nights.

Still I Stand Strong

You think you've lagged me behind ,
But I'm sorry to say that you're wrong.

You've tried to weaken me;
Shatter me & scatter me,
But still here I am, standing strong.

There's only one way to settle this;
once & for all.

Let's do it my way,
No matter night or day.

I'll walk alone & conquer the quest,
In the journey to be the very best.

You may try but you ain't gonna win,
At last, you'll have to pay for your every single sin.

Pretty Eyes

Pretty eyes that tell lies
As easy as breathing
How do I end up
Falling over and over again
For the same type.

The ones with visions & dreams,
Meet my dead eyes with no hope
And ignite a spark
That lasts about a month at max.

And then, the same story
plays on repeat
Leaving my dead eyes
with tears...

And a maniac like me
Feels grateful
For feeling
anything at all.

But sometimes,
Just sometimes
I wish my thoughts
weren't so heavy.

I wish I wasn't so invested,
Being a hopeless romantic,
I hate myself for
Loving so selectively and yet
So wholeheartedly.

I have no clue
What magic they do to me
But pretty innocent are cursed...

I wish I could look away,
Not care so much,
I wish I could unlove my love
Who hurts me the most.
