Jeffrey Hopkins Poem
You’re the starlight of the evening,
The glow that lights my path.
The sunshine of my day,
The warmth does my soul hath.
You’re the power I must have,
To get me through my day.
The strength this temple needs,
To keep the realm at bay.
You’re the pride that raises me,
The thrust of my desire.
The mind that keeps me humble,
The voice that lifts me higher.
You’re God’s creation for me,
The queen of my earthly castle.
The one God gave to me,
Forever and ever I'll have you.

Jeffrey Hopkins Poem
To all my friends, old and new.
Something of substance I say unto you.
The year soon commences, the Sun far behind.
The snow on its way is what we will find.
The weather I say, it does not delay.
It’s always on time, though often it shines.
But this time of year, it can bring with it fear,
Be ripened for its wrath.
For we can never tell, when it will suddenly spell,
We better stay out of its path.
You must beware, and be sober out there.
Have a safe, a special, and a Happy New Year.
