IF I CAN CAST A SPELL
If I could cast a magical spell
I would have a world,
Where all is well.
It would be erased of all distress,
A world of love and peace,
Such joy and happiness.
A friendly world,
Full of smiling faces,
No hatred!!!
It would be a wonderful place,
To be there for each other,
After all these difficult times,
To be loved and respected,
Would be just fine!
BE THERE FOR EACH OTHER.

Beautiful countryside,
A peaceful scene,
Rolling hills,
All covered in green.
Trees gently swaying,
In the light breeze,
Bright blue sky with clouds sailing.
High up in the air, birds fly free
Calming and tranquil,
A lovely sight to see,
Nature is wonderful,
A place of harmony.

Daisies, buttercups, bluebells and trees,
Wonderful woodland,
Lots of green leaves.
Daffodils, tulips and roses,
Put them together,
Make bright coloured posies.
Carnations, lillies and orchids too,
A caring thought is sent,
Beautiful bouquet especially for you.
Flowers are special and they say,
Bringing lots of love,
To brighten up your day.

LOOK INTO THE MIRROR
Look into the mirror,
What do I see?
For only I, know the real me!
I may put on a smile, as I walk through the door,
But deep down inside,
I feel insecure and unsure.
My emotions I very often hide,
I don't tell a single soul,
But I tried.
People often say "How are you today?"
I will tell them, "I'm fine."
Then I'll be on my way.
Even if someone seems fine,
Just check they are really ok,
Don't ignore,
They may need your help and support,
Just a little more.
For when we have the love of friends and family,
That maybe all it takes,
To brighten up their day,
And the happiness it makes.
Be there for each other,
Let's them know that you really care,
Even in difficult times,
A hug with them you will share.

But it won't last forever,
Maybe a day or two.

Just a spoonful of sugar,
Helps the medicine go down,
For poets and non-poets
Just write the words down.

Sunshine is here,
The summertime we cheer.
The warmth of the sun,
Long sunny days and fun!
Walking in the countryside,
Or going for a bike ride.
The feel of the breeze,
As you walk between the trees.
A walk by the river where the water flows,
The sun makes your skin glow.
Reflection of the swans in the water,
The ducks paddling faster.
Enjoy the summer sunshine!

A NEW DAY
The start of a brand new day,
Another beginning,
A fresh start in the morning
What will today bring?
Will it bring rags or riches?
Nobody knows for sure.
What unexpected things life brings,
But harmony peace and gentleness,
Who could want more?
Respect, good wishes and kind words,
Is important and we adore.
Gentleness is needed,
And helps you through the day,
Caring and gentle people,
Who have good things to say.
Making a peaceful world,
Is important to us all,
Love, respect and honesty,
We need forever more!

Christmas time is near,
Laughter and cheer.
Best wishes and hugs all around,
Snow glistening on the ground.
Beautiful Robins we can see,
Lots of Holly on the tree.
Time for kindness and joy,
Peace and love in the air,
Thoughtfulness everywhere.
Special thoughts for loved ones not here,
Always in our hearts throughout the year.
It's not just about the presents,
It's the love from the heart that's meant.
Special times spent together,
Happy memories forever.

JUST REMEMBER
If ever you feel lonely or down,
And your not sure what to,
Close your eyes and take a deep breath,
Remember a very happy, special day,
When things were good for you,
Remember who you were with, that special place,
That holds special memories,
Family, friends, that familiar face.
Hold on to the special memories,
Of all our loved ones, so dear,
We should treasure them forever,
Always in our hearts and in our minds so clear.
