Summer and Sun

Sunshine is here, The summertime we cheer. The warmth of the sun, Long sunny days and fun! Walking in the countryside, Or going for a bike ride. The feel of the breeze, As you walk between the trees. A walk by the river where the water flows, The sun makes your skin glow. Reflection of the swans in the water, The ducks paddling faster. Enjoy the summer sunshine!

lovely summery descriptions. It's always been my favorite time of year, but now that I am so much older and do not have to worry about going to school, I suppose I prefer late spring and early fall!

I call sunshine my "Vitamin S" for all its healthy attributes... nothing lifts my spirits quite like an invigorating swim, hike, jog or bike ride accompanied by blue skies, sun's rays, and the sights and sounds of nature. Lovely write, thank you Jeanette ~ John
