Sedation

sometimes my mind just needs sedation
I turn inward my mind to my meditation
breathe in breath out breathing in and out
my mind swirling constantly about
things all types of things
like the little smiles on my child's face
and why I chosee this aweful place
for my meditation
do I need to be on 
medication
I must need 
something 
to calm this beast
here
deep inside
why else would I have come 
here to hide 
from all the problems of this great nation
Great nation
ha
maybey we all need some medication
but thats just it
exactly it 
ain't got noone who gives 
a 
about this nation 
or its  
delinquent offspring
and that's how this 
whole thing got started
and just like the Red Sea
we've all been parted 
from our own souls 
and our destanies
when was the last time you saw your 
tree
not a tree grown from this earth
it's the tree 
given to 
us
at birth
by our mothers 
and our fathers
while they stand by
and all they can do is
sigh
in desperation
breathe in
breathe out 
breathe in and out in 
meditation
I guarantee 
could help this nation
find true calm
if everyone could just 
say
om
it would  
be alright
if we could find that 
innerlight
of meditation
the higher form of this 
better than 
any 
medication 
you could find
just sit still
to realease your mind
to enter the realm of higher places 
just take a look
in your children's faces
you will see yourself
or maybey 
even the face of God
first 
your mind must go
against the grain
but in the end
you will
obtain
the Light
for it is in all things 
that are
or will be
for you see
it is so simple 
but oh so few see it
really see it  
as it is 
all of us 
in it
and it in us
what is all the
fuss
over religion
religion
something made by man 
so he can
prove he is wright
and his brothers are wrong
we all have it wrong
cause if
we could all just get it right
we would all see the light
of our own
and thats what was exactly 
known
by the 
prophets
teachers and gurus afar
a star 
in side each and every man
and picture this if you can us in it and it in man
enlightened
a whole new level
senses hightened
by this
light
brought on by my
meditation
no longer brought on by 
medication
I have my own form of sedation 
for my mind
if you just breathe
you could find it 
too
it's inside 
each one of you
some times my mind just needs sedation
