Makessa Myers Poem
He was here just yesterday, filled with love, life and cheer.
Now he's gone away and it's so cold and lonely without him here.
He disappeared without any warning or even a single goodbye.
Left behind a heart now broken and eyes that will forever cry.
With tearful eyes she watched him and saw him pass away.
And though she loved him dearly, she could not make him stay.
She knew he was getting tired and a cure was not to be.
So, she wrapped her arms around him and vowed to love him endlessly.
His golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands were put to rest.
She felt as if her world had ended because she knew he had loved her best.
Never got the chance to tell him exactly what was in her heart.
Never pictured life without him, never thought they would part.
Now that he's gone and nothing seems the same
She's so mad and angry and wants someone to take the blame.
Just how much she loved him, he will never know.
But she will always think of him and allow the love to grow.

I know I shouldn't feel this way, at least not for you.
But now that I know you no longer love me, I don't know what to do.
It breaks my heart to even think that you have somebody else.
What happened to your feelings for me and the love that you once felt?
You no longer hug me and I can't understand why.
You no longer wish to kiss me,and it makes me want to die.
You come and go without even looking my way.
Ever since you moved on, it's so hard to face each day.
Will you ever come back to me, is waht I wonder each and every night.
Then as the tears fall I just hug my pillow tight.
Every minute that passes by, I sit and wish you were here.
Hugging, kissing and touching me, easing all my fears.
I don't know if you realize just how much you mean to me.
I just always thought I made my feelings known and clear for you to see.
But I guess in time I'll get over it, and one day I'll be okay.
But for now I just miss you so much...
And I wish my love was enough to make you stay.
