Relaxation

Relaxation
    1. Export myself to an alternative universe
    2. Monopolise every corner of my new world
    3. Make people follow the script
    4. Complete resolutions in pure silence
    5. Re-engage in reading for pleasure and not just for work

Pandemic

Pandemic

Deaths gaining power on a mission to devour,
Negative encounters. Chrysanthemum flowers.
Deaths dangerous, not slowing but growing,
The momentums mind blowing,
constantly going.

Death is mysterious, hooded, cold blooded.
Untrusted, never obstructed, working uninterrupted.
Cloak of black, megalomaniac,
never looking back
insomniac.

Death sees themself brilliant, highly resilient,
Extremely consistent, noticed we are coexistent.
Works smart not hard, little regard
Constant bombard
Leaving us scarred.

Cruelly placing death in our breath
We assess this mess then rightly obsess.
Death made segregation and a desperate situation,
Threatened civilisation, created isolation,
Next up vaccination.

Alzheimers

Alzheimers
Some say Alzheimers took you,
But I simply don't agree,
Yes you didn't recognise my face,
But your heart remembered me.

I never saw you as a partly missing,
Or as a flicker of your former self,
I saw you as my Grandma,
And simply nothing else.

Your heart was filled with love,
No negativity at all,
Your alzheimers gave you powers,
It froze time and I stayed small.

Although I've gone past 20,
You remembered the younger me,
The times when I wore my school uniform,
And came round yours for tea.

Grandma you were beautiful,
And one day we shall meet again,
But for now, sweet dreams, I love you,
Please wait for me till then.
