Nocturne

moon's silhouette dances on the lake
blue water with floating lilies and lotus
lily pads covering the most of the water
glowing moonlight gives fresh impetus

crimson sky mingles with a dark shade
tall trees and bushes keep the darkness
fleeting clouds cascade down the woods
lotuses dazzle, lilies shining in likeness

little fairies dance in this luminous night
angels gather to play the celestial harp
viewers are amazed watching this scene
awaken are the birds to sing and chirp

in solitary night nature speaks with poise
we listen and witness this night's charm
the rivulet being composed and tranquil
we cherish and return to our lovers' arm

The Grace of Beautiful Autumn

A white dewy mist began to rise,
stillness spreading over the village
the luminance of percolating sunlight
glazed over the woods
dappled sunlight on the lake
traces of shadows over the trail
acorns are laid on the grass
trees cast shadows over the tide
cascading clouds with amber hue
paint the canvas on azure skies
heaps of dry leaves settling
underneath the tree trunks, on ground
spreading like a blanket,
fluffy and crunchy to lie upon
winter blooms mourn with the chills
nature's transition from fall to winter
the scent of autumn flowers spreads
along with the aroma of autumn fruits.

In a Moonlit Night

Iridescent orb colored fuchsia
scintillating diamond drops encapsulate
my heart is locked within the orb
Oh my love, please accept it

my hands float within
the sapphire vapory dream
your face, your eyes I envisage
at this night before my sight
wizard face turns to his loving face
the witchcraft dream dissipates

moon goes to sleep but I am awake
tree limbs touching the moon's surface
glittering diamonds around the moon
my love and I whisper in a moonlit night.

Tranqulity

The tranquil ocean,
mysterious and blue
crystalline water crashing
on the solid rock,
gentle cool breeze
blue and greenish tides
shimmering in the sunlight

As the mist rises
when the waves break
and water surge falls
drenching the mossy rocks,
a relaxing sound spreads
breaking the silence

A place tranquil
where the lovers meet,
a scenic place with
lavender scent,
serenity of percolating
sunbeam scatters
through the woods

Traces of shadows
over the trail;
sublime fabrication
of light and dark
creates an illusion
for the passersby

Trees are growing
out of the cracks
covering the distant hills
with a green blanket

A mountain waterfall finds
its way under the trail,
cascading water streaming down
with a teeming downpour

As I sit on the roadside,
and watch the swaying tides
I wanted to say a 'We'll meet again.'

Dancing Poppies

Cheshire clouds under sapphire sky
verdant pines sobering evergreen,
are brightly lit under the sun
beneath it bright red poppy flowers
dancing across the lush green field
clustered flowers linger on my sight
the bloom, the glory of the red petals,
raising their tiny heads to touch the sky
spectacular beauty over the meadow
mild breeze flows caressing the flowers
colorful butterflies encircle the bushes
clouds silhouette against the azure.

Nature's Melody

Gentle and shy morning sky
rising sun greets the earth
cotton clouds moving softly
in the blue sky with mirth

unfolding the feather wings
a flock of birds flies high
traveling very far and far
till our eyes are able to pry

sunset shifts the colors
with crimson-grey blend
scatter far beyond we see
full sky with pastel shade

amid the darkness of the sky
star blink as tiny sparkles
a cocktail blend of grey hues
paints with shiny freckles

Inner Bliss

Easy flowing words with my magical pen
paint my emotions giving me a relief
from my boredom and aids me
to paint my readers a picture using words
taking them on a magical ride
with the beautiful lovebirds.

I enjoy taking my readers to a colorful world
shows the unseen and unknown beauty
and to taste the awesome nectar of nature.

My songs give me a solace of peacefulness
taking me on a journey to a divine state of inner bliss.
They heal the audience by instilling
a sense of grace and beauty through my melodious voice.

Feeling the depth of a poetry theme or a song
requires understanding and merit.
To manifest them to a broader audience
requires the excellence of presenting with the same depth.

Thus when I look for enjoyment,
I do not need to go outside but
I look upon myself as it is within me.

Vibrant color,
dancing

reflections of
impressionist art,
blaze on deep green water
of mirrored lake,
flaxen and scarlet leaves
heed their reflections

painted lips spread
betwixt the trees,
multicolored leaves swirl
fluttering,

deep blue sky silhouettes
over lake water,
evening dawns

summer songs
fading out,
frosty kiss of autumn lingers.
