With Imagination of the Mind

Bountiful banquets served by the mind
Keats, Poe and Frost once sat and dined
Men pick up their pens and find
Voices that have need to say
Reverie holds sway
Soon verses display
Ponderings
Here and
Now.

A Man Named Dan

There once was a man named Dan
Who sat with a paper fan.
He sat in the sun
and had such fun
and wound up with quite a tan.

Bruiser, a Bichon Frise

Bichon Frise

Rough and ready

Ultimate companion

Intellectual breed

Shadow by my side

Ever so playful

Regal little dog

Gar From Mars

There once was a man named Gar,
Who came from the planet Mars.
He had fun in the sun,
As he toasted his buns.
And slurped his drink from a bar.

Wearing of the Green

Wearing of the green
For sure it’s St. Patrick’s Day
Leprechauns, shamrocks

The Hummer

Beating in the spring
Kaleidoscope of colors
Hummingbirds, live jewels

Rays From the Heavens

Heavens rays shine down
Capturing blue, icy waves
On ice crystal stones.

Libra

Lives fully and freely.
Intuitive by nature.
Balanced in the scales.
Robust like fine wine.
Always eager to please.

Snowflakes

Winter brings snowflakes
No two snowflakes are alike
So soft, pure and white

Called Home To Soon

Another stormy night in my hometown
Brought icy trees and wires down
Streets looking like a piece of glass
It was extremely hard for cars to pass

On this cold and chilling winters night
Bodies were thrown from a car in flight
One could see, not far out of sight
The reflection of red and blue lights

From a deadly car crash, to a coffin
Lying there in innocence and youth
Surrounded by an aura of white
Called home too soon by God.
