The earth is burning before our eyes
A sea of disaster limits our days
As the waters continue to rise
As you look to the western skies
It is aglow with an angry blaze

Tilling the field, covered in flies
Fighting the heat of the sun’s rays

Politicians put on a disguise
Searching for an ounce of praise

That everyone is caught up in a craze
