Just a Lover

For every tear that has fallen
Wishing the rain would end
Clouds see no shine
Through the fog no beginning
 Just a lover’s blindness

For every heart beat skipped 
Hoping to find rhythm
Ache carries on
During the hurt 
Just a lover’s pain

For every near faded memory
Trying hard to recall
Map leads directionless
Where everything mislaid
Just a lover’s thoughts

For every soul searched 
Knowing love can be found
Clues are misleading
Within each lovely face 
Just a lover’s loneliness
