Daddy's Lost

Never being there hurt you so
Desiring to help me grow
Help my childhood progress
It made you feel worthless

What AM I taking about?
Cause day in day out
You missing me was a joke
You never loved what you broke

Another too lost and scared
Though I can’t say I never cared
And I can’t say I’m not sad
But even you should know dad

That never coming to see me
I dealt with to a tolerable degree
And that I’ll always question
When I’ll hear your confession

Will I ever get to see you dad
Or have I truly been had
I guess I have to wait some more
‘Cause it’s always you I’ll be looking for

My Bumble Bee Friend

Sitting on the green grass
A cute little bumble bee
Approached my spot
Sat and began spying me

I kept his gaze
We were eye to eye
or is it eye to eyes?
Either way, this contest we did try

Not One movement
This starring game
Even though we know
It quite lame

No buzzing around
Not a single shake
But i sat in the grass
While he sat on a stake

But in this moment
That we did stare
A new feeling came
I began to care

This little bumble bee
Did catch my heart
But as i went to hold him
He left, he dart

As my heart dropped
The love i did lack
Came whizzing by
He did come back

Landing on a flower
I did dare to hold
This cute bumble bee
So fuzzy and bold

And when my hand reached
To catch the bumble be stud
He stayed in my hands
My new bumble bee bud

Lost Loved One

Engaging alters prance through the wind
Melodic songs of a peaceful goodbye
Tranquility begins to surround her tonight
This twilight death of a heart dipping under

The passion is leaving her behind forever
Let Destiny take her course of aftermath
Bloodless painful stitchings of a lost love
When death decided she was his next victim

Her life will carry on through the dark mist
A cerulean blanket lay upon her thoughts
Her devoted chaliced love left her this night
As his phantasm raises from earth to heaven

(NOTE: thought i'd add this isn't about someone's
lover leaving them, but about a wife's husband
dying, most ppl didn't see that)

Night Meets Day

The moon sinks
Below the evening trees
The sun rises
Above the morning horizon

Stars dot the rims
Of earth's face
Clouds paint the paper
Of sky's canvas

The moonlit night
Plans a new meeting
With the sun of days
As the sky turns dark

As the moonlight
Is splashed with
The sun's light
It turns rose red

Love's crystal light
Dances upon us
As we are in
Our midnight embrace

Along with the
Moon and sun
The stars and clouds
Bring their meeting

And as we kiss
The clouds roll in
The stars dot the clouds
Bringing love's dusk

Battered Love

Your love
So toxic to me
Create a poison
I can't resist

Like the bee
To a venus fly trap
The sweet nectar
Brings it utter death

I can't stop
I love the pain
It feels good
This sick pleasure

The taste of it
My velvet tears
Lulling me to sleep
Each tireless night

The beauty of it
Like a single
Damaged rose
In the starry night

Don't leave me
the blood
Lingers on my lips
A taste of your love

The bruise lay
Within the blood
The pounding pain
Of the love we have

Drunken Realities

I stand here in our drive
You said you were coming
But the clock now says 5
I’ve been here since 1

Something inside me churns
You aren’t coming
My heart begins to burn
And my emotions are unraveling

I thought you loved me
I slip my hands in my pocket
I pull out a skeleton key
It says “Skip” on it

I hold it tight in my palm
I should have known u weren’t coming
My heart begins to calm
For it is the inevitable

I turn and begin to walk away
Just as I open the screen door
I hear someone behind me say
“Destiny? Is that you honey?”

I turn to see you standing there
My eyes swell with tears
Your love was my only care
And now I have it in front of me

I run full speed
I love you so much
My heart did bleed
For I missed you so much

Then my world stops
I sit up and realize my reality
Outside I see the cops
I get out of bed and walk to the door

Outside, I see you in the cop car
The lights are flashing bright
All I could do was stand from afar
Staring at you in your drunken state

My dream will never be here
For you’re just a drunken ex-sailor
Your soberness is what you fear
And because of that, we all lose

Notorious Love

Echoing whispers in the night
Silently ripple through the wind
A voice of melodic reassurance
Putting faith in every word you murmur

Elusive talk of what’s to come
Future dangling before our hearts
Hands reach up to capture its dust
Speckles of beauty sashay around us

Dancing in the glorious ecstasy
Soaring hearts take their leaps
Their blind faithful walks as one
Beating for just one branded notion

Days building up to say it again
Tell of the day as we believed love
Anxious hearts and anxious love
When can we feel this forever and always

The Nameless

I never had the chance
To know who you were
The questions in my head
Spinning, ripping, crumbling
Hearts sink below each sunset
Our Christmas turned sour
The blood and torment now
Sorrow filling our cups
The thought of it all today
Knowing we'll never know
What you could mean to us
What you would have been
Daughter and mother
Son and father
Words resound in my thoughts
Sadness rings his bell loud
Tears crash making great rivers
Darkness falls on two hearts
Souls buried in the sand of loss
Time’s hourglass runs another life
Down to the depth of never-was
Eyes in the darkness watch me
Broken and weary of future
Holding onto nothing but love
You were my nameless future
A miscarried world of mine
