It's Supposed To Be An Awesome Peak

She's been dreaming of
a beyond compare life,
like Mayon volcano's
stunning shape,

but this just sickly sticks
in her bold eyes
while staring at
the fabulous view

that she's been painted
perfectly
for decades, to be the best
yet only turns into a
scary sketch.

The Aliies of My Sorrow

The lonely letters that
my tired thumbs are typing
on my cellphone know how
my heart breaks, bits by bits.

The silent ceiling, the white
bulb seem like telling the
carved cabinet to show their
sympathy,

while the walls,windows,
and electric fan
whisper the green curtain
to sway a little for me.

My blanket and pillow
are showing their support too,
they want me to feel
their softness as my comfort.

They are the allies of
my sorrow, no senses,
but they can feel, they
can clearly see
what I've been through.

A Modern Haiku

morn drizzles--
falling on daffodils
murky-sweet scent

Her Future Romance

A guy sat beside her
in the jeepney, then read his book.
She looked at the cover,
he threw his glance at her--
their eyes met...

My Wish Turns Into Astonishment

I throw a coin,
murmur my wish,
it's twirling while going down,
like it has ear that can hear
a dancing sound nearby.

I'm shocked and shook my head,
'coz the coin comes back
and says:
"Ouch! You hurt me!"
"The well has no water!"

I wipe my sweats,
suddenly spank my face
to make sure I'm not sleeping,
why the coin speaks?

Cures of Emptiness and Lassitude

The sound of morning
mizzles,
brings laziness in my
half closed eyes,
the car engine whirs in
the garage that
awakens my senses,
while drones of the bees
and birds push me to stand up.

The hoots of the monkeys
in the woods,
with flying brilliant colors
of butterflies,
those mild touch of the
waft waves on the beach,
bring spectacular radiance
in the middle of my
emptiness.

A little paradise
that dumps the agitation;
and gives my body
a composure from lassitude.

Woman In Chains

The sullen stars seemed
guardian angels,
looking at me from the half opened sky.

Their stares were comfort of my crying,
as though sending a message to fight,

their wide wings flapped
and took me up
from my cell of chain.

We flew in my dreams,
drifted-
as if the wind heard our laughter.

Every lonely night, they were hanging
on every moon's ray to cheer up my bout:

For my freedom.

A Life's Journey

Hushing sweet waves
on the river,
the greenish palm
tress oscillate
its freshness in breeze.

Puffy eyes beneath
the sky,
lying down on the broad
bamboo raft,
never feels the hardness
it gives, only the wind paddles
and knows where she goes.

Superb tranquility of the
distant view uplifts
a woman's journey
with courage and optimism.

The yo-yos of her life
will someday subside,
she'll pass the water
under the bridge,
she'll arrive the end line,
surely survive with
thumbs up.
