All Lies

What does it do for you?
Does it make you that mad?
Does it make you happy?
Tell the truth, why are you so sad?

Go on and lie right to my face
Who do you think you are
Who do you think I am
Your love I cannot replace

You fill my mind up
With all the love I feel
Then you take it all
Away none of it is real

Go on and lie right behind my back
Where do you think you are
Where do you think I am
I'm always under attack

Run to me when you
Start to feel alone
I no longer hold out
My arms to my own

Don't you dare lie right to my face
Who do you think you are
Who do you think I am
Your memory I cannot erase

Easy

You don't want to see me
But I'm still watching you
Behind painted faces
I know you must look too

A weary heart
Withered without your love
Won't let me leave
This place I'm so tired of

You won't hold me back
Yet I can't move on
Your train is on track
And my engine is gone

You can't see me
You don't need me
But I just can't be
Given up so easy

Fall To Lame

I know the hurt you feel inside
It leaves you without air
You did it to yourself again
Screaming, Why me, Life's not fair

Nobody listens to how you feel
They couldn't get it even if they did
The loneliness you can't conceal
A boiling pot with a plastic lid

I wish I knew what to say
Spoken words don't sound the same
And I can't make it go away
Leftover good intentions fall to lame

Masterpiece

Trapt under a sandcastle of regret
On the seashore of apathy
While blissful ignorance rows by
The waves of denial cover me

Try as I may I cannot undig
Myself from this tomb of sand
For each grain is heavier than the last
And the edifice poorly planned

I call my friends to help me
But despite my cries they cannot hear
Over the crashing of the waves above
And the walls of their own castles I fear

The salty taste of bitter defeat
Is strong in the mouth of sin
Time is slow and the memory fast
Taking us back to where we begin

Promises broken and love unspoken
These hold me imprisoned
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide
At last these waves have risen

Frothy and warm they cover up
My masterpiece so others can't see
The pathetic attempt to change
All the hurt feelings and memories

All light has vanished from my eyes
The bubbles of desperation grim
Even if these sands I could escape
Death awaits for I cannot swim

Hurricane

I'm in love with the sound of thunder
And the driving rain that drove me under
Clouds roll over the skies tonight
Behind closed eyes you can see the lightning

Hearts are broken but love remains
The days are different but its all the same
Winds of change blowing on in vain
Since I stepped out into your hurricane

Don't take me with you cause I want to stay
Don't lay me down in your heart to betray
Troubles fall heavy like do hail stones
Tree branches crack with the sound of back-bones

The lights grow dim beyond my doorway
In my mind I paint your face in shades of gray
And all these days that I spent with you
Took only seconds for your words to undo

Fool

While you weren't looking
While you were away
I climbed upon this mountain
To become the man I am today

You barely even noticed
The shape of your disgrace
I barely can remember
The look of your face

You would have let me drown
You would have let me down
Oh what a useless fool
A useless fool you turned out to be

You cried yourself to sleep at night
While I layed awake
I gave you everything I had
And all you did was take

Do you remember
The way we used to fight?
I still hear the echos
When I turn out the light

You would have let me drown
You would have let me down
Oh what a useless fool
A useless fool you turned out to be

You think your so righteous
You think your so grand
I see you in the mirror
Where a half-wit child stands

You say you want to meet me
To learn the things I knew
So take this message in a bottle
That I'm sending out to you

You would have let me drown
You would have let me down
Oh what a useless fool
What a useless fool you turned out to be

Beautiful Day

Beside of you I want to be
Deep down someday I hope you'll see
Maybe then you will finally
Be what I wish for constantly
I'm waiting on that beautiful day

Well look out now there she goes
Will she be back nobody knows
Day by day my love still grows
I'll wait for her I suppose
Looks to be a beautiful day

Time is past but here I stay
Beside of you I hope I lay
Underneath the stone and clay
To see you again I hope and pray
After all it was a beautiful day

I'M Sorry

I always make the wrong choices
Listen to the devil and his evil voices
I can't count the battles I've lost
But the war is what I try to win
Most mistakes I can't take back
Or right the wrong back on track
But I have to try my best
And then to you I leave the rest

I miss how it was before
Even though I kicked down the door
That you lovingly held open for me
The good thing I had I just couldn't see
All the things I should've said and meant
And a million apologies couldn't dent
The pain I know I left with you
There's no excuse for the things I do

No way to take it all away
No Magic words I can say
It was so hard to tell I even cared
I didn't deserve what was shared
You held out your heart to me
As I now wear my heart on my sleeve
Love and trust forever are broken
And all I'm left with is this token
A permanent reminder of my own stupidity
The memories of how it could be

I'm sure you hate me with all your might
And detest the thought, the very sight
I can't now look you in the eye
For my guilt burns like a brutal lie
Every ounce of my soul is bleeding
While my heart to you is pleading
To erase my mistakes before I die
From the regret of not being man enough to try

I don't expect you to ever forgive me
I just hope you believe me,
I'm sorry for not being true
For starting and not following through
Please believe if I could do it again
Beside you still, I would've been
Holding your hand everywhere we'd go
That's just a dream of mine now I know
Still, I'm sorry to your heart from mine
And I still love you; I have the entire time

I Love You

I've waited for so long
Searching for the right moment
Till now its just seemed all wrong
I used to think I could just show it
But that's not true

I bought you pretty flowers
And I tried to catch your stare
But I guess I'm a coward
I tried really hard, I swear
What else can I do

I know exactly where I belong
But for now I just hope one day
You'll realize that all along
What I've been trying to say
Is...I Love You

Dance On Wings

The power of a smile overwhelms me
When hope is lost it can help you see
Through the tears and pain and misery
A smile can open hearts and set you free

How fast can just the other day
Become a memory fading fast so far away
I tried to convince it to stay
But off it went and here we lay

Arms wide open to what tomorrow brings
Endings belong to all our beginnings
Maybe and end to this dance on wings
Beating to the tune that the future sings
