Lost and Found
I got a quarter in my pocket
And a girl in my locket
Just for show
I can't remember her name
But she reminds me the same
of someone I know
Times got tough when she got going
Laying out on the couch not knowing
How far below
All I do is walk around
This old wore out town
Looking for my lost and found
Or just a place to lay down
Out of the rain
Sometimes you feel I don't belong
But then again I'm singing your song
Don't float away
We could count all the stars
Or plan a trip up to Mars
If you'd stay
Cause a girl like you
Knows just what to do
And what to say
All you do is walk around
This wore out town
Looking for your lost and found
Or just a place to lay down
Out of the rain
I tried to give it away
You tried to keep it in play
But it just wouldn't obey
Anything we had to say
So all we do is walk around
This broke down town
Looking for our lost and found
Or just a place to get down
Out of the rain
