Hugs Unite Us

Hugs Unite Us

All of us feel pain.
We’ve felt it since the day we were born- a cruel, harsh reminder that the world isn’t always a perfect place.
But we’ve also felt the beauty in this world, in each other.
We’ve also felt hugs.
Hugs let us forget the pain, as we melt into somebody’s arms.
Hugs are the physical bond between two people- the words “ I love you,” when they reach out and hold each other in this long embrace.
Hugs are the feeling of being worth something, being special, and being loved, all wrapped into one.
But more than that, hugs are a powerful force.
Hugs wipe away the darkest feelings, such as anger, hatred, resentment, and morph these feelings into forgiveness.
Hugs are what we need in our weakest times, when someone's embrace is the only strength that will heal us.
Hugs are the universal body language for understanding, love, acceptance.
Hugs unite us.
