Christine Bialczak Poem
Worldwide Pollution
In Nigeria, in Lagos, in lands far away
The garbage pile’s growing more and more each new day.
The US is known for throwing trash in the road
The UK comes close with a big garbage load
But lands that are far are must worse than this quote
India and Asia are at the top of the note
For having no way to throw garbage away
In Pakistan the children have nowhere to play
In Egypt the pyramids were built for the kings
Now they are outnumbered by garbage and things
Qatar has a problem, Afghanistan too
But so does the US, as if nobody knew
Mexico, India, Madagascar is bad!
What Disney does show us, it’s not, it is sad
The animals live in trash along with the land
In Haiti there’s practically nowhere to stand
In Russia there are tons of bad toxins and waste
In China the air is so thick you can taste
The dirt in the air that we all need to breath
The world is all garbage, let’s all plant a seed
Let’s stop all the nonsense, the garbage, the trash
Let’s ask man to value the earth not just cash

Christine Bialczak Poem

When we go to see all the beasts
we know that it is great.
Being right near the local zoo
you're sure to take the bait.
Animals in many sizes
in colors, shades, and hues.
But did you know they will listen
when people sing the blues?
How do I know about this fact
about the cutest beasts?
Because I spend most all my time,
my zoo card is well greased.
I will stay for hours at a time
and never want to leave.
I talk to them and they know what
I'm saying, I believe.
I have a special bond with them
for this I know is true
because animals look my way,
when leaving makes them blue.
So I will try and come each day
to treat them to my mind.
The peace and pure tranquility
help me too, I do find.

The things in life that matter most to me
live in this house that I can call my own.
The people and pets that make family
the ones that are here when I feel alone.
My daughter is one I think of each day
and how she has grown into such a gem
David is here and sends love all my way
I know I could not stand life without them.
My son now is gone but he is still here
in my heart and in my memorys too
My husband is with him or at least near
thinking of them makes my heart break in two.
I love what I have and miss what I lost
But I wouldn't trade it for any wild cost.

Christine Bialczak Poem
Our Holidays!
Grandpa is gassy and grandma passed out
Uncle Joe’s drunk and Aunt Emma no doubt
Can’t believe her eyes
To us, no surprise
All this drama makes my mom want to shout!

Autumn Sonnet
November 13, 2019
When the leaves begin to fall fast you know
That the weather will begin to get cold
The wind will have gusts and the wind will blow
Whether you’re young or even real old.
The leaves turn colors like yellow and red
The cold air freezes to ice on your brow
You wish you could just stay warm in your bed
But daylight lasts less so be busy now.
Holidays come to many around us
Some people lonely while some feel complete
Parents realize their duty and fuss
To make little ones kind to those they greet.
We wish for the warmth of the coming spring
The rebirth of nature’s beauty we sing.

Christine Bialczak Poem
In the absence of complication
In the absence of complication,
trials and tribulations become distant memories.
Above sapphire skies delight sanguine eyes -
inspiring forthcoming musings of the mind.
Above all the disquietude and disorder
Peace does encompass the serenity displaced
To demonstrate the possibilities that are
Available to those willing to accept them.
Persevere as you can in spite of the turmoil
Which stands constant in your byway
To procure the benefits of positivity
Until all struggles have been left behind.

Christine Bialczak Poem
A beauty, a jewel, a lovely bright star
A beacon of hope is the girl that you are
Wondering each day
Why Muhammad's away
You'll always search for him no matter how far.

Christine Bialczak Poem
Waiting for love: a Sonnet
Only the beauty that lies within
Marks the truth of love and soul
For underneath the plain façade
Does hide a destiny and goal.
But try as you might you cannot see
The truth of love with blinded eyes
You cannot love with all your being
Until you have cleansed all the lies.
So mark the place where passion starts
Make this is common starting place.
Unless you vow to stay alone
For true love is full of truth and grace.
You want the love of mine alone to touch your gentle heart
You can must ask me just this once and I am ready to start.

Christine Bialczak Poem
My Winter Wonderland
As I sit and wait for the snow to stop
I watch the world outside my ball of glass
To see who is watching
To see the snow fall faster or slower.
I have no control over the snowfall
And I must learn to enjoy the shaking
That I endure at the pleasure of little hands
For I am a winter wonderland citizen
Forever in this world of water and flakes
Glistening and falling, settling until the little hands
Choose to shake my world once more.

Christine Bialczak Poem
A sense of holidays!
Blueberry pie hot out of the oven with buttery toppings
popcorn popping in the pot with oil on the stove
Lemon and lime are the sour balls used for drinks or garnish
Take that hot pan out of the oven with your glove.
Coffee is served with a biscotti, black coffee, strong, steamy
Fresh coffee beans ground and gurgling through the percolator
Unsweetened coffee, hot, burns your lips, bitter to the tongue
Cold ice in the freezer and the glass shelf in the refrigerator.
Uncle Joe’s gas problem and Aunt Emma’s feet
As Grandfather breathes and snores through his nose.
The last crumbs of cinnamon, the last glob of whipped cream
Take Grandma’s hand when you walk out, she hates to impose.
