The Boss

From the badlands of New Jersey
His guitar sure can sing
Generous and humble 
Has always been his thing

Patriotic and the working class
The words he writes portrays
A man of natural talent
That rarely wears a mask

Born in the USA played in the 80's
It hit the very top of the charts
He is older now but still tours on stage
Proving he can still dance in the dark

His lyrics are raw and many can relate
To those who know how it feels
Fighting battles in your own head
Others will judge and never understand

He will go down in history as a legend
For his music and as a man
He sets a good example
How people should be
