Miles Kirkpatrick Poem
As every day moves on and passes by,
You beauty never strays far from my eye.
The second we lock eyes and then lock arms,
I’m already ensnared by your soft charm.
As we relax under the shining sun,
I pray this day will never be outdone.
For ours is a new love that shall not fade,
For we can keep it, grow it in old age.
This earth has lots of fleeting joys and hopes,
And I hope this doesn’t sound like a trope,
But we are a worthwhile young endeavor,
So pray we will Outlast This Love Letter.
This is from me to you, from you to me,
Because I think, I know we’re meant to be.
