United States Marine

I'm tougher than any tool, and 

better than any machine, I'm 

not some gun carrying fool, I'm 

a United States Marine. I won't 

bend and I won't break, I'm here 

until the end, whatever it takes. 

 

 

All I need are my friends and my 

gun, 'cause I'm gonna be here till 

my cause is done. I don't do it for 

the glory, I don't do it for the pay, 

I do it so the ones I love can live 

free another day. 

 

 

I'm the first one in and the last one 

out, I'm reliant on my friends, trusting 

without doubt. Now I'm out here on 

my own, remembering the ones I left 

at home. I could be a mother or a 

daughter, a father or a son, for all 

you know I could be anyone. 

 

 

I'm not like the rest, I won't go down 

clutching my chest, I'm a marine, the 

best of the best. I'm out here now, with 

my comrades, remembering our loved 

ones, and the memories had. 

 

 

I'm walking tonight through a desert, or 

a swamp, I won't complain and I won't 

whine, but I'm still wondering how you take 

for granted all your free time. I protect your 

right to protest in the street, only to watch 

how you stand against me. 

 

 

I risk my life, so you can live yours, and you 

call me a murderer, and then a hero when it's 

my body that hits the floor. All the places I've 

been, and all the things I've seen, make me 

proud to say I'm a marine. 

 

 

You may not like me, for what I stand you may 

disagree, yet I'll give my life for you, and you 

don't even support me. I feel no sorrow, and no 

shame, only anger, for my loved ones pain. I'm 

willing and ready to open the door, knowing I 

may end up dead on the floor. 

 

 

But I'm not afraid to die, all that means is I 

gave my life. And though my body may be 

dead and gone, through the gates of heaven.

Mi Corazón Se Pierde a Ti.

My heart is lost to you, no matter whats bringing you down I'll help you make it 
through. You have this heart of mine, emotion runs so deep its almost a crime. 
Its easy to see why you're so right for me, singing so beautifully, walking hand in 
hand with me. Gazing into your eyes, staring at your smile so perfect in every way. 
I want to kiss you in the pouring rain, I want to hold you all night and day. I could 
talk to you for days at a time, still in wonder of how you became mine. I see you 
my heart races, i cannot even describe the feeling it displaces. Through this life 
you'll have many friends and many enemies, I pray that you never get betrayed, 
that you'll stay strong when they try to lead you astray. No matter what they say 
don't waste your tears, no matter how afraid don't show any fear, for no matter 
what you need I'll be here. I'll be here to wipe the tears from your face, to help you 
up should you fall from grace. Wherever this life takes you, I know there is no one 
strong enough to break you. There will be many things you'll have to make 
through remember that in one way or another i will always love you, when you 
feel like everyone has left you, you're never alone. I'll always hear your call, I'll 
never let you fall, even if you forgot I'll show you I waited through it all, I promise

My Last Breath (One Last Time)

One more time I gaze into those eyes, one more time I try to see deep inside. 
One more time I Smell your sweet hair, one more time I feel your presence in the 
air. One more time i hold you in my arms, one more time I kiss you under the 
stars. One more time I tell you I love you, One more time I dream of you. 

 

With every breath I cherish you, with every breath I fall deeper in love with you. 
With every breath I find it harder to fight how I feel, with every breath more and 
more I realize whats real. You picked me from the beginning and I'll stay with 
you 'till the end, always remembering how you're my best friend. 

 

Your kiss leaves me hypnotized, your love leaves me paralyzed. Bringing light to 
my life, a few years down the road hopefully becoming my wife. You take the 
breath right out of me, filling what used to be a hole with a heart so clean. What 
did I do to deserve someone as great as you? 

 

My gift from God, my angel on earth, I promise to never leave you hurt. My lighted 
way, my brightest day, hearing your voice erases my pain and helps me let go of 
my shame. Your touch so gentle, your kiss so sweet, you bring me peace 
whenever we meet.

 

Everything they done to you, and all the pain you suffered through, all the things 
you could've been, I thank God you didn't listen to them. I will not leave you 
comfortless, I will come to you. I know theres pain that you hide, you stuff it down 
deep inside, whether or not it becomes too much to bear, I will never leave you 
suffering, standing there. 

 

I miss you more than you could ever know, I love you and am not afraid to let it 
show, we're still young so we take it slow, but no matter what I'll never let you go. 
Searching for nothing, wondering how I changed, thanking you for everything. 
Can't find the answers, I'm crawling on my knees, waiting for you to finally come 
help me.

 

And when the day comes and one of us should die, one last time I'll gaze into 
your eyes, one last time I'll let you deep inside. One last time I'll hold you in my 
arms, one last time I'll kiss you, hoping the rest of your life I'll be the one who 
miss's you. one last time with my last breath I'll smell you sweet hair, but unlike 
this life my love won't end there.

Fade Away

I see you in my dreams, I see you in my day, I hear your voice calling even though 
you're so far away. Whispering to me, calling my name, its a voice often chilled by 
sorrow and pain. In the light of the day it slow and fades, but in the darkness of 
night, it grows louder begging me to ask "are you okay". 

 

Hiding from these problems, running from the shame, afraid of facing the truth 
though its all the same. I don't know why I'm scared of this, it seams that all the 
answers are hit and miss. I see you standing there so close I can see it, yet so 
far I can't feel it. 

 

I'm wasting away, slipping through the cracks of the shadowing doubt, I don't 
wanna fade away, but now I fear there is no way out. The new moon rises, in this 
night so cold, as the clouds roll in shadowing my soul. The light fades as 
darkness sets in, alone in this place as another evening ends. 

 

The darkness fades and the light brightens my room on this day, only to reveal to 
me your agony and pain, I wish I could only end this suffering. I've found you in 
you're corner, I'll pull you out of the clouds, why are you in such a hurry, you don't 
wanna be lost in the crowd. 

 

All the pain you've suffered through, and everything they've done to you, the light in 
your eyes fades, as your joy gives in to a teardrops way. Smiling as though 
theres nothing wrong, always now I've been your friend all along. 

 

I'll help you avoid what you could've been, help to erase the memories of them. 
Just as you've brought light back to my day, I'll help make sure the light in your 
eyes never again fades. I'm through with all the pain, because neither of us 
wants to fade away.

Fueled

Deep in my heart, a raging fire, burning intensely, fueled by desire. My only wish 
to see your face, hoping to encounter you in this place. Better than any drug, 
stronger than any drink, your beauty so intense it makes it hard to think. I'll never 
leave you, I won't decieve you. I'll comfort you in your pain, I'll shield you from your 
rain. I hated to see you in agony, fueled by what seemed to be a tragedy. 

 

I'll hold you high and help you shine, I'm always amazed that you are mine. 
before you came into my life, I had no reasons, no living light. The more the dark 
consumed me, the more your light shined through me. Pulling me from down 
below, showing me love like I have never known. In my heart you have grown, 
never to be removed, my love now has a home. No longer standing on my own, I 
was so tired of being alone. And now you are here, and I can see it now so 
beautiful and clear. You help me to see the signs, also helping me to realign. 
Before I could not read the writing on the wall, now I want to read it all.

 

Struck by your beauty, paralyzed by your face, I can still remember your sweet 
taste. I could talk to you without end, and forever hold you in my arms again. I 
could listen to you sing forever, I love you so much its without measure. All the 
sounds you make, and every breath you take, thoughts of you enough to keep me 
awake. I can feel your presence in the air, in the wind hear your voice and smell 
your sweet hair. Blue moon rising, stars brightly shining in this moment so 
perfect, its been a long road to you but it was all worth it. 

 

I may not always live up to your expectations, and I may not always give the best 
explenations. But I will always be there, waiting for you to call out to me. I will 
come when you need me, and stay 'till you've reached a state of serenity. You can 
count on me to pull you through, I'll always be waiting for you. My love for you is a 
raging fire, constantly growing stronger, fueled by the spell you keep me under.

Energy

The clock on the wall ticks the day away, while thoughts of you lead my mind 
astray. All the time I wish you were here to stay, all the time I think of the things 
you say. I miss you throughout this day so long, I miss you from the beginning of 
dusk till the end of dawn. You know you can always tell me when something's 
wrong, I'm always here, never gone. When you come around the air begins to 
thicken, a profound feeling comes over me, 'cause I can feel your energy.

 

You have the most beautiful smile, and the perfect kiss, the light in your eyes 
makes me glad I didn't run away from this. Your presence is like a peaceful rain, 
clouding over and taking away the pain. Now that you're gone, I'm wasting away, 
like the life is being siphoned out of my veins. Then you come near and its like 
you're filling the life back into me, like I'm feeding off your energy. 

 

Your kiss is so gentle, so smooth, it drives me insane and when you're done you 
could ask me anything and I wouldn't have a clue. Your beauty captivates me, 
draws me close, this feeling I get raining down on me, is better than all, not just 
most. The air around you has such a sweet, sweet smell, it reminds me that this 
time with you, is time spent well. When you're around you're all I can see, I'm 
breathing in your energy.

 

The gentle sound of the rain reminds me of you, in my head remembering all the 
things you do. Overcome by this feeling, now realizing its my heart you've been 
stealing. I've grown so tired of searching for something new to be, and I'm so 
glad you pulled me from my misery. My love for you could possibly be the death of 
me, but I don't care 'cause I'm surrounded by your energy.

Gone Away

When I'm with you I feel there is nothing I can't do. When I'm with you I feel like I'm 
flying high above the world on the wings of eagles, when you're gone I feel 
weighted down in the midst of evils.

 

When you're here I feel complete, all my feelings no longer scattered but 
gathered, when you're gone I feel shattered and battered. When you're near your 
voice is all I want to hear, and even when you're gone away it lingers in my ear. 
When you're here I'm completely open, when you're gone I feel broken. 

 

This world has so much for you, and no matter where it takes you I'll always 
adore you. In your life many will hurt you but I will help, I hope always forgive, 
never forget and through-out your life have no regrets. I know that someday you 
may have to leave, with this fact someday I will make peace.

 

I'll be here when you're happy, I'll be here when you're sad, I'll chase away your 
fears and pull you near. I'll pick you up when you fall, when you feel like crying I'll 
help you stand tall. I'll always give you my heart, and I'll help pick up the pieces 
when it all falls apart. 

 

In the search for immortal love, you've come into as you were sent from the one 
up above. He showed me the path to find my way, and gave me my reason to 
pray. I know that you're here for today, and I know eventually you may have to go 
away, my want for you to stay is selfish and wrong. Gone away, its the same old

This Hell

For fifteen years I lived in this place 
I call hell, it's a place I've come to 
know very well. Hiding inside my soul 
I dwell, running from the pain inside 
this hell. 
 
 
This hell is a place of agony and fear, 
as if everything is gone, and no one is 
near. The burning flames I see so clear, 
even in the heat your voice is what I 
still long to hear. 
 
 
This hell holds my soul is so burned and 
bare, searing my flesh, singeing each 
hair. I long for that day when someone 
will come, and all of this scaring will be 
undone. 
 
 
The empty space in my heart unfilled, 
my soul crushed, and spirit killed. Yet 
I still wait for you to end my pain, 
and put out the flames with your 
precious rain. 
 
 
Your presence here, thickens the air,
erases the fear. Out of this place 
and into your arms I fell, I'm fully 
alive, and pulled from this hell.

Inside of Me

A great sorrow is consuming me, tearing me 

from inside causing insanity. But you're the 

one who pulled me from my misery, and I'll 

walk through hell to make sure they don't take 

you away from me. They say that my 

expression of feeling is shown inappropriately, 

they say it's a sign of a teenage impurity. But

it's what's deep inside that they can't see, all 

these feelings down inside of me. 

 

 

As my world falls away, and I've yet to see a 

reason, all my emotions begin to decay and my

feelings go on the run. And I'm scared to be the

only one, whose hourglass is half full before all 

is said and done. These thoughts trickle down,

as all of your pain fills the air around. I guess

time is catching up behind me, but that doesn't

mean these problems are gonna control me. 

 

 

Again I found myself wandering around in the 

dark, filled with my anger, agony and the pain

that comes with being apart. My thought I'm 

thinking, I hope aren't misleading, I only want 

what's best for you, not what's best for me to

do. I'm tired of all the false accusations, all the

misinterpreted contemplations. It has darkened 

the light in my eye and created a hole in my soul,

but I'm still fighting hard not to lose control.

 

 

I told you I'd always be there for you, to always

help you to fight the pain you're suffering through.

But now I'm confused as to what to do, consumed

by guilt of the pain I'm causing you. My heart feels

as though it wants to shatter into ash, as if my 

body, mind, and soul were made of glass. I'm here

today only knowing that because of this I may be 

gone tomorrow, this thought fills me with anger, pain, 

and the greatest of sorrow.

 

 

I've been knocked from grace, and cast into hell, the 

agony eating away at my shell. It has come to the

point that at times I feel dead inside, running isn't an

option since theirs nowhere to hide. Crying out, because

I made you cry, the pain this has caused you is killing 

me inside. When you cry I cry, 'cause deep down apart

of me is trying to die, and there is no explanation, and 

no reason why.

Memories

I take my hand and move your hair out of your face, sitting here with you in such a 
meaningful place. Your eyes have the beauty of a thousand sunsets, your smile 
so captivating when you stop it leaves me in unrest. Your skin so smooth and 
soft, as is your hair that flows about. Laying under the stars on this moonlight 
night, all I want is to pull you close and hold you tight. A moment so perfect and 
full of feeling, until you must walk away and I am left reeling. Standing now in this 
beautiful place, staring into your eyes so full of grace, holding you in my arms 
one hand caressing your face. Your beauty is amazing as I watch you shine, 
thanking God that you are finally mine. In the midst of your presence I am without 
worry, so hard not to kiss you but I know there is no hurry. all these memories I 
share with you, this is indeed my wildest dream come true. No matter where we 
may go or what choices we choose no matter what this life brings I'll always 
remember you.
