Divine Sorrow

Alone in this room with the window shut I no longer feel your presence, screaming out to you yet you can't hear me. I hide behind this face, pretending not to have a care in sight. I see your face deep into the darkness of the night. Running to you reaching out only to see you pretend you're al right, with full faith I won't let you give up the fight. Emerging from the shadows your problem is made clear, always know you have the world behind you, and never give in to the fear. The pain in your eyes is a surest surprise, a solution to this is sure to be near. We are here today and will not be gone tomorrow, never again should you feel such sorrow. While others try to hide you never will I do anything but guide you, even through your darkest day I'll help you to find your lighted way. I'm here to help you see, know that you can always rely on me. I've told you this before and I'll say it again, don't back down, never give up and never give in. With your world by your side there is no fight you cannot win. You've gone away, and I'm waiting alone in this room again, the window open hoping to hear a glimpse of your voice in the wind.
