Crossroads

Crossroads

You will never see them coming
Yes, the crossroads
Where you have to choose
Choose a new road to tread in
Lose what you thought could be "forever"

I don't want to turn over a new leaf
The "If" ,no ,I don't want to think about it
So I remain stuck at the junction
I auction all my better days to the sands of time
Time will tell

So I choose to live the moment
My decision?
Don't comment
How can one just get rid of so easily?
Dear Thought don't judge me
You ought to understand
Understand I'm human too
I might be sulking,
Gulping ocean waters so sour
But life playing its mind games on me,
Pass by the hour
I find myself in need of the candy too

Handy? I know the winds will be
Will push me to choose
Until then, I will live by the little strength left within
I will watch them,
The roads
Their vastness
Spreading out to the four corners of the earth
For now, I choose not to move

Black and White

Black and White

Stick long
Trrrtata trrrtata
It searches it's way through the gravel
Those eyes ,
They should be narrowed and smiling
So I feel her burning gaze marvel
Air thick with intimacy,
My heart merry,
It propels us to cuddle
I ,leading the way down black and white

What can I say?
It's all at the tip of my finger tips
I know each and every pothole by size

Hello Mrs Grey
I know it's her
But I won't tell my companion
I heard the sound of her limp.
Her hair must be snow white now
Her reply, a wail
A shrieked howdy
By , we sail.

I wave to old Tom from across the street
She is puzzled
Well his sighs are the loudest.

She draws me closer to her
So that I don't bump into that booth
But I had counted my steps perfectly well
When my heart is steady
And I'm not hurrying away
It's just fourteen feet from Old Tom's store.

I come to a halt
This is where it ends
She's stunned
It's a good day
I see bright white
But at the end of the lane - nothing
She says she sees trees dancing
To me it's just a black void
This is as far as I can take her
So we turn back.

He Knows Best

He Knows Best

No, I wont cry anymore
I got my eyes red and sore
My heart drained to the core,
Its strained.
Its tiring, how
I've been enquiring
Endless pleas
I'm sure they floated out of Milkyway to some place they filter pleads
Where they weigh their worth against gold
Guess I wasn't found deserving
Thats why the cold

Hold
There should be a reason why they bloom in spring
Winter they shade
Death a moment
Life a phase
Night a rest
Day a test
Thats why the seasons
I need no more reasons

I know He heard
For much I earned
After all He knows best
My love first
Christ the Lord

In Plain Sight

In Plain Sight

A hundred words
A thousand more
Oh, won't just be enough
Will not match up to the sensation in between
The ecstasy covering the whole lot of miles between
So their tongues tied,
And their lips failing to comprehend their minds,
Silence.

Love taking them into a tiny cubicle
Befitting only them two,
So they are both stuck in a trance -
A world where a ticking clock is unknown

He's listening
She's listening

She won't hear the screeching brother
He won't hear the radio on blast

She hears his serenade whistle through her pane
He hears the echo of her giggle pass from Milky Way , Andromeda ,to Antennae.

He's there
She's there

I hear his beating heart
I see her cheeks turn pink

So they are content
What they feel doesn't need a dozen more words
Worlds apart
Forces intertwine
Heart to heart
When push comes to shove
They are in love
