Chimaobi Ikenyi Poem
On the morrow,
When am fading
Like the blue sky
Loosing its colour
To the intrusion
Of the beautiful night
Siren,may ur presence
Soothe and Pacify me,
the hopeless romantic
On the morrow,
When the cold hands
Of demise beckons
And the underworld
Bemoans my intrusion
Siren,may you take me
Along to the other side
On the morrow,
When i become lovelorn;
Bereft of all love
Lost in the pool of
Self doom
Siren,blare me away
Pull me further away
From clarity

Chimaobi Ikenyi Poem
ECHOES OF TIME
I'm sorry if you have too much confidence in me for real ,I'm sorry.
After all ,what do I know about life and living?
I know nothing about the cosmic elements or about changes in tides
I certainly know nothing about birth and rebirth.
Want do I know about fate or fame?save me a thought-my lover
Or I'm I committed enough? What do I know about commitments?after all this is my 100th different relationship
I'm sorry my lover if I failed to fully harness our love
Like a gold mine presented to a blacksmith,I failed to dig all the value out from the great mine where we both fell heart first.
(Sighs)
What do I know anymore,
You may call this ramblings of a lost soul whom deepest thoughts are afloat like the kite hung up in the clouds and soaring against gravity , hoping and wishing to one day kiss the stars.
My lover, you are my star ,
The clouds of misjudgments cover and binds you like a vale ,I need it off
For so many memories shared have become a curse for a young blood ,lest I tarry in my disgust one more millennia please call me home and let the sound of my now rambling soul echoe through all of time.

Chimaobi Ikenyi Poem
On the morrow,
When am fading
Like the blue sky
Loosing its colour
To the intrusion
Of the dark night
Siren, may your presence
Soothe and Pacify me,
the hopeless romantic
On the morrow,
When i become lovelorn;
Bereft of all love
Lost in the pool of
Self doom
Siren ,blare me away
Pull me further away
From clarity.
on the morrow,
when distance become a divide
and the days long and full of despair
With a cloud of darkness
Hovering above me
Siren, draw me,
into your stride and never let go.
On the morrow,
When the cold hand
Of demise beckons
And the underworld
Bemoans my intrusion
Siren,may you take me
Along to the other side.

Chimaobi Ikenyi Poem
It’s now almost two seasons,
Since you made your way to me
For two seasons,
I have loved your bass-like voice
I have adored a bold and fearless woman
I have loved your blunt and bad sense of humor
I have loved you for all the reasons and for no particular reason
I have thought you to be what comes after the hurricane
You have given me the best of you ,In a season of turmoil
Your love has shone brightest in trying times.
For two seasons,
You have taken the sweetest memories in my mind
Making a hopeless romantic, the happiest man for the past two seasons.
I have lived to adore you.

Chimaobi Ikenyi Poem
The scarlet stained judge that summons a soul to a meeting of vultures should not see carcass as unpleasant
The grasshopper that avails its genitals in the market place should not be irked when the market begins to place their value
No matter how children are foolish and playful, the sight of a dead body doesn't amuse them
The tree that fell in the forest should not think its blocking anyone's progress
The squirrel has no nest;so does a foolish Man's offspring
Who tells the moon to grace the earth with it's smile? maybe the deity did with its charletts or maybe God's words has it hoist up far beyond where charletts and charms can reach
You could never apply patience and fail
