Love

Love is eternity to me.
It transcends all beauty.
It encompasses reality,
And overwhelms formality.

It reaches deep and long,
Makes right from wrong,
Brings hope to go on,
And makes weak things strong.

I'm in love with compassion,
Passionate about intimacy,
Live for bliss and holiness,
And Lay down as a lamb in peace.

Worth giving, worth living in,
Worth giving into and living true.
This force is not forced,
It is God given to be the source.

It will remain and can't be contained.
It is feeling, sacrifice, said and done,
Charity realized; wholly prized as the Son.
Love is open, ever growing, wise and fun!

Never to be disguised, love.

Mercy

Mercy is the substance,
Which stops our downward fall,
Which gives place for grace,
To then lift us to our potential.

It is the sure and steady rock,
Which we can all rely upon.
It’s essence and founder,
Is Christ our Savior.

He gained this victory and power,
As He lived and sacrificed His life,
With charity as the oath and standard held,
And champion which prevailed.

Christ is the Word, possessing
Every perfect godly attribute,
Which were poured forth,
From the garden, cross, and tomb.

He bought our way to freedom,
Living and giving His life in perfect light,
Shewing us mercy in loving submission,
And giving all the power to rise.

Mercy and grace work side by side,
And hand in hand, for without them,
We could not comprehend,
Or be lifted out of the power of Satan.

Mercy is God’s gracious gift,
Our great loving rescuer.
Grace is shared by Christ,
His gifts of perfecting power.

I Am For Christ

Please strengthen my testimony Lord.
Help by being my sword, shield, and reward.
Destroy that which is inside me, abhorred.
Bring me aboard, and fully furnish me restored.

As we travel across this stormy sea,
Help me bail and stop all these water leaks.
Be a motor in the back for me,
And a rudder to steer me clear and free.

Savior, I am unable, but Thou canst redeem.
Please come rescue, release and restore me.
I cry out for Thy mercy, peace and healing,
So I can live in righteousness abundantly.

I have not the power, and am not my own,
But Thou canst plant, grow and reap, all seeds sown.
I need Thee every moment, to not be alone.
In the end, bring me home to bow at Thy throne.

I am to follow Thee, so I must abide in truth.
Please give me all Thy ways, and follow through.
I need Thee to teach, preach and lead, to improve.
I know Thy love is all I can do, so help me prove.

Now I ask Thee wholly, to restore me in Thy grace.
Glorious Father, I now fully embrace.
I have so much to become, in all Thy ways.
Hold me up tightly, to the light of Thy face.

My offering is me, and Thou offered Thee,
So let’s come together, and be one in deed.
Sealed in Thy holy sacrifice, I am made free.
Let this be all I’m after, for only this will suffice me.

I Love Thee My Lord

Lord, I want to meet Thee again.
I want to be with Thee, like then.
Please come as I worship Thee,
One on One as brother to the Son.

Thou dost talk with me a while,
Turning my turmoil into a smile.
Renewed, I kneel and worship Thee,
As Thou dost love me tenderly.

I cherish my time with Thee.
In awe I gladly receive,
Turning over my offering,
Of strain and suffering.

Thou art here to comfort and heal,
With hands upon my head so still.
Thy words are said, I see the stars,
And all Thy creations at large.

Everything comes into view.
Most of all, I see Thee true,
Dying for me, the least of these,
Giving Thy sacred life for peace.

I am sure of Thy love for all.
In Thy hands I stand up tall.
When I need Thee, I can see Thee,
Always comforting and redeeming.

Just before our time is through,
I sit in Thy lap, give Thee a kiss,
And take a nap, as Thou dost tell me,
Beautiful stories from Thy life.

How I am in Thy dreams divine.
Then with love, Thou art in mine.
Before Thou dost depart,
Thou dost kiss me, close to heart.

Thy host watching, singing along,
Giving hope to stay strong.
Thou art mine and I am Thine.
I love Thee my Lord.

Shiftless Core

One heart, one mind,
Making music, divine.
One battle, one beat,
All gather in one to defeat!

It’s time to be bold,
And not overbearing,
To help bring forth light,
And healing to the world.

Remember the One,
With the shiftless core,
Our reminder,
Of who we always need to be.

Where ever we go,
And whoever we see,
We share love,
For His glory!

United in beat, and thought,
We’re not going to stop,
Because we are of one heart, one mind,
Making sweet music divine!

It won’t be enough,
To just believe, we must fight,
To overcome the foe,
With power from the Holy Ghost.

Come now, let’s win,
As we are unified in,
One heart, one mind,
Worthy of the divine.

It’s about how we live,
That we love and give,
Unified in one beat, and thought,
Now let’s spread the rock!

We are of one heart, one mind,
With one beat, divine, united in,
One purpose, and mission,
With a shiftless core, let’s give all to Him!

Our Savior Dear

Christ is the water and bread of life,
Poured out and broken for us to take part.
Everything denotes His love,
His perfect sacrifice for us.

His soul He offered unto God,
His life He surrendered on the cross.
He is the Christ, our exaltation prize,
Kind Savior and Redeemer mild.

His healing balm knows no end.
His service to the broken to mend.
Once to humbly lay His life by,
Now He reigns in heaven on high.

To be partakers of His fruits,
We must bear in us His life,
To tree from roots.
Herein are the gospel tools.

Christ the Lord who reigns on high,
Always let us be nearby Thy side.
We have come to earth to do our part.
Bestow now charity in our hearts.

With hearts and hands to serve Thine all,
We adhere our Savior dear, to Thy call.
Always to give and share in truth,
We love in Spirit, to make all things new.

No Manner of -Ites

I am praying for the day,
When all walls will fall away,
And we as sons and daughters,
Will all truly obey.

The commandment to love one another,
Is the great and first commission.
To love God with all our hearts,
Might, mind and strength, our mission.

This is the celestial law abiding,
With no lies or self-deceit in the way.
There must be no inner hiding,
And for all this we must pray.

We all require our one true King.
Only He can sustain and set free,
But to be in his kingdom,
Each one must be at peace.

In this we must have no borders,
No place we cannot go,
For a King to reign in heaven,
There must be every room to grow.

There will be no manner of -ites,
No one will be excluded from their rights.
Each one loved as all are one,
Every moment blessed with pure divine.

Here in these last days, this is our destination,
For as Christ is to come, we are to receive Him.
No one will abide the day, unless we are all together,
In one body, one faith, under one head, forever.

In This Quiet Place

I am in this quiet place.
I can hear laughter as they race,
To join me by these waters,
To tell stories of our journeys.

Shortly I feel their touch,
As our hands and faces embrace.
We are happy tonight,
Here in the quiet moonlight.

It is my friends whom I love so dear.
We are dancing and singing with endless cheer.
Then comes a gentle man,
To share in our evening’s plans.

We sit around the edge,
Of the sweet river bed,
Listening with our hearts,
To our Christ, whose words He imparts.

As He tells the water calms,
And the wind suddenly stills.
The sounds of nature all around,
Become quiet, so that He is the only sound.

This penetrates my soul,
As I feel His words unfold,
And I think to myself,
It's worth it, I’m glad I didn't quit.

I could go on like this forever,
And I will, and it will only get better.
For my peace and rest I enjoy,
I am full of eternal life and joy.

I am here in this quiet place, as I see that I’m on earth,
But I know where I will go, as I feel my endless worth.
I can come here at any time, and in time that’s where I’ll be,
To share my forever and eternity, with deity.

Source

One goal and many choices,
Yet one is heard among the voices.
We are learning to battle out the bad,
Changing for a new heart that’s glad.

Let’s look at the sources,
There are two opposing forces.
One says come and stay,
The other says get lost, go away!

As we sank down from the trip that lead to misery,
We thought we’d reached the point of no return,
Then we found a lightened destiny,
Which blazed a trail and made us burn.

Purifying flames made us come alive.
Minds were carried through the veil of time.
We were set down again on barren climbs,
Once again aided to cross the jagged divide.

He again resounds, “Come, follow me.”
A simple phrase among the many,
But more profound than any,
And in these words, a precious melody.

We are the ransomed, in a world of the damned,
Reversing the process, giving light and hope to man.
Chosen to do the work of saving lives,
This right we honor, and in it shine.

In living according to His word,
We gain the reward of whom we serve.
We must attain our goal from the right source.
Be sure you are following the right course.

Saving Night

There was a glorious star, shining,
Bright in the heavens, piercing.
It lit up the night sky, like lightning,
Showing upon a village sight, conceiving.

All was calm, even the bustle from that great day,
For travelers who sought out their homeland pilgrimage,
Were worn out from their travels, of so far away.
Even a couple of Nazareth, looking for a place to stay.

Not far, and up on a hill where the sheep graze,
Was found a curiosity by these shepherds, with heads raised.
What a sight they did see in these midnight skies.
What did this mean, this holy light to their eyes?

Then came another light from above,
Growing brighter, filling all with peace and holy love.
At which occurrence commenced angelic singing,
Bringing the shepherds joy, as they began kneeling.

Over in this village, though not known to those around,
Was the source of this miracle, who made not a sound.
The birth of The King, the Savior of worlds renown,
Unto us in a lowly manger, the meekest circumstances around.

The lost would be found, and the beggar, not turned down.
Many of the pure worship him, as the One True King.
He brings exaltation to all who follow Him, earnestly.
His is the only way, He saves, and brings peace.

He is our exemplar, glorious, and most excellent reward!
Come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord!
He brings us eternal life by His side!
Alleluia, for coming down, on our saving night!
