I Never Failed!

When should I admit failure?
The first, or last time?
My drum beats a pure heart
It’s constant rhythms, painful failure
Rising above a thousand failures
Times a thousand defeats
If my dreams; visions, hope, words
Or just cause came from selfishness
Instead of a selflessness cause
I would graciously accept failure
Yet, if I weren’t gracious
With just cause, honor and integrity
I wouldn’t have failed!
A harsh chastening of too many failures
Rises my victory, to the glorious prize
Giving the gift of purpose
In the end, failures prove
The victory of, I never failed!

Trumpet & the Sickle

Trumpet & the Sickle
The scrolls were opened
Only the Lamb of God, worthy
To open the scrolls of life, light
The death Angel protecting the gates
Only a locket filled with fine sachet
Crossed upon my heart, forehead
Saved by grace,
 to record the trumpet call
This mortal body weakened
By battles, constant battles
Of Heaven against Hades
Serving God’s glorious creations
Humanity & Earth
Granted the feather of Seraphim’s claws
A diadem eye, greater in physics than Newton
Conquering science, a mere woman
Humbled and closed gates of Cherubim
Protection granted
In a chamber protected by black onyx
Light, perfect light
Clean, heat with glorious power
A gift from God
Hades sending every weapon
To defeat me
Fear filling every man
Whom must now bow in humility
Beg, you must beg to survive!
Some knew no God
Worshiping knowledge
Having none
They will be utterly confounded & beaten

Fine perfume I made for the Lord
Mixing death and life
By directive having now the power
Given as a gift from our Christ
He our King given the only true
Power and divine right
To destroy humankind
By his word in an instant
To send volcanoes and earthquakes
Mixing rare oils
In fine scents poured upon humankind
Giving warning
To heal an earth
Covered in wickedness
With a mere machine I type
The saving of earth from utter ruin
Your message now given in
A twinkle of the eye
In a moment through his
Handmaiden servant
You are warned
God saving only his creations
Open the gates lest all perish!
Shine the light of God
Upon the earth
Thrusting God’s great sickle
Of divine right, providence
Upon you all
Lest none of you be saved!
Pity upon you
Whom think your righteous.
Your trumpet is now called
The sickle
Cuts deep!

Tomorrow

Aspiring
We dream, hope
In love we cherish
Hoping to find happiness
Thinking its out there
Always searching, yearning
Too many never realize
it is in the “here and now”
Dreaming and wishes
For something else
Longing for what will be
Always thinking about,
 when it will come
Rarely appreciating
It is here now
The dream has come
We just forget to appreciate it
Living our lives waiting for Friday’s
Or this date, or when we accomplish that

Always waiting, wondering
for our ship of dreams
On tomorrow’s ship that is always sailing
Scheming for the boat, often losing hope
not realizing
ITS TODAY
Not living the dream
 life is our dream
of appreciation of what we have
And making the best of it
Not lusting for what will be
Or another’s something
Its being something
Making yourself someone
Today
It’s a smile, a gesture
A joke
It’s not the hope
Of tomorrow
Its living our dream today
appreciating
Today every day
 all it brings
Tomorrows anticipation
Of it never comes!
And when it does
Too many find they are still
Hoping, dreaming of nothing
But
Tomorrow
Not living today!

A Reason For Reason

There is a reason for all things.
A reason for reason
Some we know
Other reasons forgotten
Some think too little,
Some think too much
There is a reason for all things
It’s a season for reason
To contemplate all things
With reason
Think things through
I know it doesn’t answer
Why bad things happen, why
Some live, some die
Why some hate and others
Find love~
Some reasons just
~are
Other reasons
Appear life’s unfair
When we reason
When our reason rises
From Earth, it all
Makes sense
Then we are told
Every reason big or small
Some reason, there is
Others reason nothing beyond
Some believe in happen stance
Serendipity, many don’t reason
A reason for being~
Many, people don’t care
I tell you there is reason
For every season, all
Information is reasoned data
Think it through
This poet finds
This reason to write
To contemplate
It to you
You’re the reason
I reason~
Exist
For this reason
What you must reason
Is, do you reason?
Have you found your
Reason,
 for reason?
