Too Late

Tears flowing endlessly
Pain taking over me
And the voices, they never seem to stop
I want to die
To you I cry
And yet you turn away
Sleepless nights
Constant fights
And yet I call this home
Drugs and parties
More "I'm Sorries"
And yet the pain is still here
Confused with emptyness
A child deprived and motherless
And yet I'm somewhat glad
Headphones blaring
Strangers staring
And yet I feel invisible
You showed you never cared
You said you weren't scared
And yet you're speechless
As I hold this gun
A shot through the head
I fall down
Lifeless and dead
And now you say "I Love You"
And cry
For your words I had to wait
You were one bullet too short
One life too late.
