Pieces of My Love

pieces of my love fall gently to the ground 
wind from the east brings in the rain
soaking fresh drops of pure hope
flowing through the smooth sand 
leaving no trace,
so pain won't come crashing in 
sky full of pity looking down 
giving mercy to all
sweet innocent cries
cherish the time spent
giving faith to those who pray
floating down the constant current
reaching out grabbing hold to passionate dreams
peices of my love slowly drift away
