Lindsay Gee Poem
You Don’t Know
Lindsay Gee
Pretty face, pretty eyes, pretty smile...that’s all you ever see.
You don’t reach below the surface to see the real me.
I run hot and I run cold.
But you don’t know unless you are told.
Sometimes I’m sad and sometimes I’m scared.
But you don’t know, or you just don’t care.
I can be lonely and I can be weak,
But you don’t care as long as you get some twice a week.
So where is that white knight you promised me;
Maybe he fell off his faithful steed.

Lindsay Gee Poem
Pity You
Lindsay Gee
What a sad life you have ahead of you.
You’re going to wonder where everything went askew.
You’re going to wallow in self pity, over the chances that you blew.
When you look and notice no one is around.
And you wonder why you sleep on the ground.
You’re going to want to know where hope can be found.
Hope lies in the fact I will never hate you.
I will always know what you do.
When you suffer I do too.
Through it all I just pity you.

Lindsay Gee Poem
Stop coming around with that worn out line;
I don’t want you around me or mine.
I don’t even want to see your face;
You are nothing but a disgrace.
You’re a loser and slob;
You can’t even keep a minimum wage job.
You are nothing to me;
But, heartache and misery.
I have better things to do;
And, they don’t include you.
So, don’t stand there and whine;
You’ve been informed of the bottom line.
