Chilling Breeze

as the chilling breeze blows across my face
i imagine i'm in another place

a place so sweet i wanna cry
a place where no flower shall ever die

i spot a bird as it spreads its wings
as it takes off, it sings

i watch the bird fly high 
and suddenly fall to the ground beneath the sky

i watch the bird breathe its last breath
as it chokes until its death

i touch the bird and shout why
as i slowly begin to cry

i imagine i'm in another place
as the chilling breeze blows across my face

Like a Child

My blood drips down your wall
And my prints run through your hall

 Down the stairs and to the door
Where you pinned and beat me even more

 I remember when you smiled 
As you beat like a child

 All the joy you had
Beating out my sad

 You turned it into anger
As i felt you were a stranger

 I cried and prayed for life
As you whipped out your shiny knife

 I ran into my room
You entered as I saw my doom

 I screamed until I lost my breath
I hit the floor upon my death
