Don'T Say Goodbye

The first time, we were strangers
I tried all i could for attention
But it looks like an intrusion
But beliefs keeps me coming on
For I have never felt this way for anyone

Our first date was like a jackpot
Everyone could see the emotion
Facing you wasn't an easy move
My saliva almost left me
I was speechless for I ran out of my rehears words

The first peck left me in a state of wonders
Cold was my companion all night as I ponder
Sleep was no where as I became a founder
Even as the thoughts of you drives me wilder

The moment we found ourselves under a roof
That moment our speech connect to each other,
The moment that we were side by side,
And we both dossed off till dawn
A moment worth than a billion tons of diamonds

But then you disappears into tin air
You were nowhere to be found
But my heart is still under your spells
Who could have won you in a short while
Jealousy they say is the root of evil
But I can't stand it when it's you

I can still smell the freshness
The touch and the squeeze
The smile, the laughters
The bond that we've had
And all I ever want is you again

Anticipation of you is now my state of mind
Just one hold of you became my wish
For you have hooked my appetite away
For how much longer do you stay afar
While I wait for your return in disarray
Please, don't say goodbye.

I Believe

I believe

I believe in black and white
I believe in the reunion
I believe that there's a purpose for black and white.

I believe in a colourful world
I believe in me and you
I believe in one continent
I believe in the different languages
Spread all over the earth.

I believe in short, medium, tall
I believe in good and bad leaders
I believe there's a purpose for their reigns
I believe in north-south, east-west.

I believe that if I believe in me,
I may as well believe in you and us
I believe in a better tomorrow
I believe that we will be one again
I believe in us...

Empty Treasury

When they keep roaming about
Know something is coming aloud
They will share a plate with thee for now
All for something that you can't see around
Once they gets hold of it, boom! they land

Much disbursement on franchise
Lot of buy buy to appease
Too much bank drafts in the street
But they accumulates back to the teeth
All for proper usage overseas

After ascending the throne,
They grew bones with horns
They become rulers with thorns
Control seats from home
Rotates the post with nepotism

Lot of godfathers settlement
Too many lavishing and merriment
Life overseas for enjoyment
Offspring no where at the moment
But are groomed for the movement

Empty treasury they complaint
Precursor have grind the nation
They have flown with the lot
But budgets is appreciating
Allowance never depreciating
Empowerment still rolling in

Little wonder if it's a journey of mandates
Why they find it difficult to locate the gate
If they can not really appreciate
Because the nation is not their mate
Whether stepping down would lead to hates
Since the masses have no right to the cake.

The Question

Under the sun and in the rain,
Performing franchise yet life is stagnant
Under the sun and in the rain,
Serving the land for 365 days
Yet life isn't fair
What are we waiting for?

Unfulfilled promises from them
But promises are nothing in our land
Life overseas for their offsprings
But the foolish perish over token
What are we waiting for?

Unpaid salaries from them
But trillions air in the media
Surrounded by resources,
But export and import at own interest
What are we waiting for?

Flies in the air,
Others look for roads to walk on
Enjoyed facilities overseas,
Others paid for unused bills
What are we waiting for?

Some celebrating, others weeping
Some eating, others wishing
Some are laughing, while the masses are in sad mood
They don't like the western briefcase
But preferred the home made sackbag
what are we waiting for?

Echoes of Terror

He always called him his life
Little did he know until the
day he last saw him
They were walking side by side
And there came the echoes of terrors
Like that of third world war

Woke up in her harms,
Confused and lost
She called him her life
Others were moving on,
They have to move on
For the other side is greener

He missed him a lot, But she's around and always calls him her life just as he does
But the joy and happiness didn't last long
They came again in army form
They cleared almost everyone
She says, my life let the journey continues

Little shelter is offered
But no freedom
They tried to raise a home for all
But not a family hall
This isn't what he wanted
But needed them for the journey

What a journey of memories,
How can he ever live to let go,
When will the fight for justice ever come?
When will the unknown be known?
When will the audio be visual?

We Are Humans

AFTER MUCH PROMISES, SO MANY TRUST ON THEM
WE MADE THEM WHO THEY ARE, THEY PROMISED TO BE LEADERS YET ENDED UP BEING RULERS
RELIABILITY BECAME LIABILITY.

THE QUEST FOR MONEY BECAME HIGH
THE PRICE FOR IT BECAME TIGHT
WEIRD BECAME THE LAND
HUMANS BECAME PREY LEFT ALONE
TO FIGHT FOR LIFE, LIGHT, WATER, ROADS,
SECURITY
RELIABILITY BECAME LIABILITY.

ROASTED SMELLS EVERYWHERE
ONE THINK ITS COW BARBECUE
KILL OR BE KILLED
WILD BECAME LEADERS
HUMANS THE PREY
WE AREN'T PREY BUT HUMANS.

The Irreplaceable

Life of ups and down
Some going others coming
Some trading others buying
Some hating others loving
Survival of the fittest,
All for a life

Happy at home with the circle
But series of nags all day long
Respect lost in the circle
All for lack of supplies
But finally, there came a task
Now away from the circle

Acquired a lot but no space
Lot of wealth but no peace
The circle is okay but no see
Tired of the task for no rest
Now a stranger in the circle

Warmly welcomed at work
But they missed him at the circle
The best at work
But enemy in the circle
The task is now a tie

Home once and the circle is happy
The joy of feminine finally arose
For the night would be hers
But duty calls and off he goes

But the light didn't last long
Finally, it slumps and went off
What a blackout to the circle
But there came another best
The irreplaceable became replaced.

Aproko Dot Com

You saw how we live
You became jealous
The way we are close
And you became envious
Our affairs drives you insane

The love we practice
Makes you wish
Our disputes are undisclosed
That makes you uncomfortable
The way we walk in the street,
Makes you look like a witch

I admire a pretty girl in the street
My lady knows of it either ways
I received a visitor and you became a spy
I got a phone call
Your ears became that of rabbit

I Went out for fun
My location became exposed
My lady brought me goodies
And your ambitions became asunder
Google the street aproko.com
And your detail appears

I dare not salute a female
A philander is reported to my lady
Even while away, your agents are still at work
The job became more interesting
Aproko.com

Your man is nothing to write about
But you make him the best
Even while he doesn't return at times
No one dare say a word
Still he's the best to you

You suddenly became the fourth estate of the realm
You are even doing well
Than the press
You know a bird in hand is precious
But still want to chase my away
Well done aproko.com

Even while my lady is away,
You still force yourself on her
All you are waiting for is her leaving date
So you can throw the long awaited party
Well done aproko.com

Outside World

The outer surface is beautiful
He comes out good and colourful
The followers are not stressful
But respectful to have a handful
No one understand the inside world,
All they see is the outside world

He laughs not because he's happy
He clubs not because he wants to
He has a family not because he has enough
He doesn't give not because he's selfish
All they see is the outside world

He's depressed inside but no one can feel it
He goes on vacations but no one knows why
The night seems longer but they don't know
The money don't just come
All they see is the outside

Birds of a feather he became
He praised and talk good of leaders
Not because he wants to
His home is not in the sky
Arm forces only obey one order
All they see is the outside world.

Lonely

It's been a while,
It's taking too long
Instead of waxing away,
It's getting too strong

Memories are when I could still hold you
But far away you are now
Broken is the inner most part,
Feelings becoming too ample to bear

Lonely is my note
Even when the pen is much around,
But of what use is the pen,
When the ink is far away?

The moonlight keeps glowing
The air keeps blowing
The thoughts keep coming
So does your smile keep haunting.
