Irony In Agony

Spoke to you last night and all seemed perfect,
Now I come back it's like you don't recognize me,
Why are you so quiet?
You can't even look me in the eye.
Dad it's me I'm back the night is over its blue skies again,
Wake up sleeping time is over.
Mama said in agony baby there's been an irony 

The night crawled it came with warmth and as I sat there,it brought pleasure and peace and now he forever rests.

He slept like he was going to wake up to a bright good morning but he forever sleeps to an endless night.
Baby there's been an irony 

He slept with a smile and promised me breakfast but I didn't know he would sleep forever and make me break so fast.
 
Baby daddy is no more,
He sleeps in the peace of a quiet night 
 All his promises have been broken 
He’s not going to be holding your hand when you marry,
At lest not physically,
He forever sleeps
