No Longer Alone

I've looked around for so long
Searching for someone to understand my plight
Seeking the one who'll hear my song
The one who will be there from day light to moon light

I once believed that my journey was hopeless
For a while I wanted to give
I wanted to quit this heartless race
But then I found someone running my pace

I found someone to understand
My love has come to hold my hand
In shock my heart is no longer filled with sadness
For that feeling has been overshadowed by gladness

So for now I have a partner who'll take it slow
I must be careful cause nothing is written in stone
But even still he makes it easier to breathe
He makes it easier for me to sleep knowing I'm no longer alone

Who Is This Man

He creeps into my brain
He releases something in me
Although I have never seen thee
I am stressless and free from strain

I can't begin to describe what it means to have him near
Just know that when I'm in his arms
My mind knows no pain or fear
Only the delight of his passionate charm

So what do I say to the one who always turn
my gray skies blue?
What am I to do when we meet on that summer
afternoon?
I can't predict to myself things that might
be untrue
For the simple fact is I do know this
man....He is special...my one and
only....he is....you.
