The Boy

With all my might I try not to stare 
The boy of my dreams is standing right there 
I quickly check my makeup and hair 
As I look up I feel bare 

With nothing to turn to, I'm happy to say 
Because he came to talk to me it made my day 

Fast forward twenty years I see him again 
Watching him from afar I see him with Ben 

Yes, we got married, had kids we’re in love 
Maybe that day, flying above me was a dove
