Daughters of the King

DAUGHTERS OF THE KING

Hear Ye, Hear Ye,
Oh Daughters of the King.
From creation’s crown, to our glorious gown,
Let Heaven and nature sing!

Awake, Align, Acclimate,
Bring it on, Beautify.
Cutie-fy, Culminate,
Culinary Captivate.

Duty bound, Dedicate,
Delish the Dish, Decorate,
Dare to Dance, Demonstrate,
Dance before the King!

Embark upon, Easy bake,
Easy does it, Elevate,
Emphasize, Energize,
Electrify, Enterprise.
Do it for Our King!

Fancy Flower, Feminize,
Fix it up, Fertilize,
Figurate, Fumigate,
Forever Fuel and Formulate.

Girl-a-fy, Give-a-fy,
Give all you Got and Gift-a-fy.
Go beyond and Generate,
Giggle, Gaze, Gelatin’nate.

Hormone-a-fy, Harmonize,
Hurry up, Hang it up,
Honey up, your Hubbi’love,
Hallelujah, Hum it up,
Sing Praises to Our King

Initialize, Initiate,
Invent, instill, Illuminate,
Jubilze, Jumpify,
Jesus Jam and Jubilate.
Kneel before Him, Kiss the King,
Live a life as an offering.

Mama'tize, Motivate,
Marry a Man a godly Mate,
Neutralize, Nonegotiate,
Nick of time, Now don’t be late.
Open-heart operate,

Preach the Word, and Penetrate,
on the Pews, Populate,
For the Lord Our King!

Qualify, Queen'ify,
Renew, Review, Revitalize.
Sanctify, Sophisti’fy,
Teach the Word, Don’t Tolerate,
Tomorrow’s Time May be Too late,

Utilize, Ultimate,
Verify, Validate,
Visionize the Vctory gate!
Womanize, Win the race,

X’emplify, Xtra-cate,
Yes to Him, Youth-a-cate,
Youth renewed, Young-a-fy,
Zion’s Girls, take to the sky,
Daughters of the King

True Beauty

TRUE BEAUTY

To the eye of the beholder,
True beauty rarely seen,
She captures none with flirting eyes,
Her attire does not demean.

Her presence, soft, as of a dove's,
If you're careful enough she'll stay,
Few there are that recognizes,
her worth this very day.

Her words though few, her silence speaks loudly,
Never deceit or lies within,
Her Angels are there and walk beside her,
For one tear they will defend.

A hidden Truffle, rare to find,
An oyster's treasured pearl,
Her love, more excellent than wine and riches,
This very precious girl.

The prideful man may never find her,
and know the loving ocean in her very kiss,
For few eyes or lips will ever taste and see,
True beauty such as this.

A woman of God, woman of virtue,
blessed is the man to add her to his life,
He has received great favor from God,
An ornament of true beauty for a wife.

Daughter, Cry No More

In Loving Memory of my Father, James Nathaniel Gelsey

DAUGHTER CRY NO MORE

I wasn't ready to let you go, but your departure from me, you knew,
You said your goodbyes with such joy, I thought,
again tomorrow, I'll be visiting you.

You gave me your time, your food for thought,
just like you did for all times,
But you knew, and you tried to prepare me,
hearing your heavenly chimes.

I know that if you could have spared, tears falling to my floor,
You would have said it with joy and gladness,
Daughter, cry no more.

It was the day before thanksgiving day, a day with you like no other,
It was a day that brought such joy,
such that I can never fully utter.

Though tired you hid it well, the time spent a golden day
If I had known it was our last time together,
perhaps I could have said to you all I ever wanted to say.

Your smiles are of eternal joy, and with wink of your eye forever more,
Your one wish that is clearly said in your eyes,
"My darling daughter, Cry no more."

Figure of Speech

FIGURE OF SPEECH

Just a figure of speech,
is the going rate today,
To say what you mean,
and not mean what you say.

Promises, promises,
made to all and everyone,
Rock-a-bye America,
til the destruction is done.

Making promises for the vote,
but don’t keep their word,
But the thing that you get,
is not what you heard.

A very fitting speech,
words goodly spoken,
Hearts won by words,
that intend to be broken.

Loudly proclaimed,
from an empty black hole,
just a figure of speech,
By men without souls.

Like Delilah lured the strength
of Samson away,
The fall of America,
is the real game for today.

Sing Little Sunflower

SING LITTLE SUNFLOWER

Sing little sunflower sing,
It is the middle of spring

Shine your face to the Son,
Your gifts are a little more than one.

Your mother is Ebony, your father, white rose.
Doesn't matter what some think, when God truly knows

Our share of sorrows, we shall rightfully own,
The harvest we reap, are from the seeds we have sown.

God’s Love for thee, always meant to be,
True faith is belief, though you may not see.

While you’re sailing adrift, please remember your gift
Blessings God will bring, when for Him you sing,
Just sing.

Apple Facts

APPLE FACTS

An apple is an apple. It is an apple to the core.
It is an apple because God made it an apple.

It needs nothing more to make it shape, taste,
or feel more like an apple; so it’s great at being an apple,
because an apple is just what it is.

No matter what color an apple it is, red, green,
or yellow, it’s still an apple.

And if it could bleed, it would have apple blood;
but it has apple seeds, apple skin and apple flesh.

If we extract its juices, we’ll have apple juice.
If we puree it, we’ll get apple sauce.

If we cut it up and make pies, the pies will be…
apple pies.

An apple is a fruit, and it should never be taught
that somehow it may be a veggie; I am sure then that it would not have to prove, apologize, or fight for the right to be fruity.

If we plant its seeds, it will produce other apples,
and that is proof enough that it was meant to be an apple. Surely we can genetically modify it to become something other than a pure apple.

But it is an apple by nature, meaning, that it’s simply natural
for an apple to be the apple it was created to be.

Fact is...an apple it is, an apple it was in the beginning,
and an apple it will always be.
And however it shall perish, whether for food for the body
or to the earth again to produce more of it’s kind,
by God and nature, it was surely an apple.

We humans can learn a lot from an apple.

Closed Eyes

CLOSED EYES

For a false peace of mind, to what degree,
will closed eyes spare oneself to see?

A desperate man breaking in,
Doors are closed in his face,
Qualified but denied, for his ethnic race.

Silent cries of little victims secretly abused,
Ashamed for the ways they are quietly used.

The uninvolved in self-inhibited stalls,
Hearing a woman's beating behind the walls.

Victims of burn for desperation of heat,
just trying to warm their hands and feet.

A student being bullied, disgruntled employee,
an outcome much different if closed eyes would just see.

The warnings of an avoidable obvious fate,
are now losses because of an imploded hate.

A people dumbed by racism, and hatred within,
A political extermination of real women and men.

Pile it on without conscience, just live and let be.
For there’s none so blind, as closed that won’t see.

Can’t wake the sleeping giant, for her trans is too deep,
take away her innocent children during the hypnotic sleep.

Until blindsided by a missile marked with her name,
The power struggles that be, are to no one's gain.

We need God in America, may our prayers be heard,
May the Lord bring revival through His powerful Word.

Leave moral teachings for the parents and churches,
Basic education in schools,
Parents and teachers not working together, a failing brew.

You can’t teach morale when the parents are gone,
Working two jobs for a living, trying to have a home.

Misbehaving for attention is the child left alone,
Parents jailed, or just missing, it is the system gone wrong.

We were dying from the masking,
and walking six feet apart,
Vaccinated for a pandemic, that still had it’s mark.

Closed the churches, even forbidden, to gather in our homes,
Removed our praying, and our singing, made us cold to the bones.

When will we just realize, that it’s the Savior we need
The only realistic hope for the human seed.

Father open our eyes, let us not live and let be.
Help us be brave to change the things, closed eyes can’t see.

Chicken Bone Hungry

CHICKEN BONE HUNGRY

Chicken bone hungry, no food in the home,
All of six people to a chicken bone.

And it’s no laughing matter when the fortunate one,
is the one who gets to have the last hot dog bun.

Scrape the jar of mayo til all the white is gone.
Eat the chick’n-bun-dog til not a lick's on the bone.

Now wait a blame minute, you’re still not done.
Eat the gristle like a chisel n’ front of everyone.

No shame in your game, here’s the straight and the narrow,
So hungry til you’re chewing right down to the marrow.

Wait a cotton pickin minute, there's a look on your face,
Oh Lord, you’ve just forgot to even say your grace.

Chicken bone hungry, may sound far gone,
that after eating all the chicken, you go to work on the bone.

Fear the Squeak

FEAR THE SQUEAK

Once when I can got angry. Just plain ticked off,
And when waiting the chance to speak.
For when I am steaming,
It was so demeaning,
When my turn to argue, my voice SQUEAKED!

Was it because I'm a lady, somewhat of a baby,
out of practice when mad showing terror,
You can bet your last dollar,
Wasn’t even a holler,
Was this a joke or some kind of error?

At my greatest upsetting moment,
my whole house went totally silent,
As if there was something to fear,
They braced themselves stiff to hear,

But instead of a rage,
What took to the stage,
Was a hilarious Air splicing spear.

Thank God I’m so loved,
when I reached the angered peak.
Though blowing steam, didn’t sound so mean
It was quite an unexpected freak.

Pushed to my limit,
Right to the last minute,
The worse I could do was squeak.

So buyer buyer beware,
Though I don’t ever swear,
Don’t have to reach down so deep,
To scary things up in a heap.

I'm a kitten gone Tigress,
A woman almight’es,
When unhappy, nobody sleeps.

The car is liable to swerve,
if you’ve probably got on my nerves,
I may not soon speak,
But hold on to your seat,

Hear it comes now, fear the SQUEAK!
