Daughters of the King

DAUGHTERS OF THE KING
Live for Jesus From A-Z

Hear Ye, Hear Ye,
Oh Daughters of the King.
From creation’s crown, to our glorious gown,
Live For Jesus From A to Z

Awake, Align, Acclimate,
Beautify, Captivate.

Dedicate,
Demonstrate,
Dance before the King!

Electrify, Enterprise.
Live a Fruitful life,
And Feminize,
Give all your Heart
Go beyond,
Harmonize, while holding on!

Hallelujah,
Illuminate joy for Jesus,
Jubilate!
Kneel before Him, Kiss the King,
Live your Life as an offering!

Marry a Man who's a godly Mate,
Make God the standard
don't negotiate!
Just Open Heart, Let Him Operate
Pray and let GOD'S Power Penetrate!

Qualify, Queen'ify,
Renew, Review, Sanctify,
Teach the Word, Don’t procrastinate
Tomorrow’s Not Promised,
It May be Too late,

Use me Jesus! Ultimate!
Visionize the Victory gate!
Win the lost!
Xtra-cate!
Yes to Jesus Youth-a-cate,

Youth renewed, Young-a-fy,
Changed In the Twinkling of an eye!
Zion’s Girls, take to the sky,
Daughters of the King!

True Beauty

TRUE BEAUTY

To the eye of the beholder,
True beauty rarely seen,
She captures none with flirting eyes,
Her attire does not demean.

Her presence, soft, as of a dove's,
If you're careful enough she'll stay,
Few there are that recognizes,
her worth this very day.

Her words though few, her silence speaks loudly,
Never deceit or lies within,
Her Angels are there and walk beside her,
For one tear they will defend.

A hidden Truffle, rare to find,
An oyster's treasured pearl,
Her love, more excellent than wine and riches,
This very precious girl.

The prideful man may never find her,
and know the loving ocean in her very kiss,
For few eyes or lips will ever taste and see,
True beauty such as this.

A woman of God, woman of virtue,
blessed is the man to add her to his life,
He has received great favor from God,
An ornament of true beauty for a wife.

Daughter, Cry No More

You can never really grasp that you’re going to lose your parent, in my case, my Dad.

Even though he mentioned it many times he wouldn't be with us long. He had had a defibrillator implant.. and he had had several heart attacks. But we were just getting to know him, being estranged from him since our childhood, my siblings and I. Watching him one day ... made me realize that my tall invincible Daddy wasn’t the same; but to imagine life without him, or imagine him actually dying was unconscionable. When it happened, I thought I would never stop crying or mourning his loss... until this message from his heart to mine, “Daughter Cry No More.”

 Daughter, Cry No More
In Loving Memory of my Father, James Nathaniel Gelsey 04/22/33-1/21/13

It was the day before Thanksgiving,
a day with you like no other—
a day I will treasure forever,
more than words can utter.

Though tired, you hid it well,
giving me such a golden day.
If I had known it was our last together,
There would've been more I had to say.

We spent such precious time together,
You played our daughter's piano and sang,
precious hymns I remembered
when I was little,
Like church bells my memories rang.

You let me make you my best meal yet,
With biscuits taught by Mom's own hand,
You seemed well pleased and before you left,
The final look you gave, I did not understand.

With a stern look you asked me to tell Mom,
You wished to see her again,
It was the last time we would be together,
the last father daughter time we'd spend.

My grief was unspeakable, tears nonstopped,
It didn't feel right or fair,
That the father I longed to know my whole life,
For me, would never again be there.

The day you would be laid to rest,
I sat up weeping more and more on my bed,
I suddenly saw you waiting to get my attention,
With your feathered hat sitting upon your head.

With your handsome smile,
and wink of your eye,
one final gift you gave forevermore—
the gesture you gave, clearly in vision,
“My darling daughter, cry no more.”

Figure of Speech

FIGURE OF SPEECH

Just a figure of speech,
is the going rate today,
To say what you mean,
and not mean what you say.

Promises, promises,
made to all and everyone,
Rock-a-bye America,
til the destruction is done.

Making promises for the vote,
but don’t keep their word,
But the thing that you get,
is not what you heard.

A very fitting speech,
words goodly spoken,
Hearts won by words,
that intend to be broken.

Loudly proclaimed,
from an empty black hole,
just a figure of speech,
By men without souls.

Like Delilah lured the strength
of Samson away,
The fall of America,
is the real game for today.

Juneteenth Anthem

JUNTEENTH ANTHEM

Justice without prejudice we pray,
Unsung heroes paved the way.
No cross, no crown, cries sing from the ground,
We can still hear them singing now today.

Every trail of blood that made our history,
Today bookmarks the end of their misery,
No pain, no pride, our scars can’t hide,
Our song a forever symphony.

Apple Facts

APPLE FACTS

An apple is an apple. It is an apple to the core.
It is an apple because God made it an apple.

It needs nothing more to make it shape, taste,
or feel more like an apple; so it’s great at being an apple,
because an apple is just what it is.

No matter what color an apple it is, red, green,
or yellow, it’s still an apple.

And if it could bleed, it would have apple blood;
but it has apple seeds, apple skin and apple flesh.

If we extract its juices, we’ll have apple juice.
If we puree it, we’ll get apple sauce.

If we cut it up and make pies, the pies will be…
apple pies.

An apple is a fruit, and it should never be taught
that somehow it may be a veggie; I am sure then that it would not have to prove, apologize, or fight for the right to be fruity.

If we plant its seeds, it will produce other apples,
and that is proof enough that it was meant to be an apple. Surely we can genetically modify it to become something other than a pure apple.

But it is an apple by nature, meaning, that it’s simply natural
for an apple to be the apple it was created to be.

Fact is...an apple it is, an apple it was in the beginning,
and an apple it will always be.
And however it shall perish, whether for food for the body
or to the earth again to produce more of it’s kind,
by God and nature, it was surely an apple.

We humans can learn a lot from an apple.

The Feet Of Them

THE FEET OF THEM

How beautiful are the feet of them,
the pillars of strength, and stance of him,
the hands, the smile and face of him,
who brings to us good news.

How lovely are the voices of them,
the song, the Word, the sound of him,
the message of grace and love of Him,
sending them who brings good news.

How precious the hoary heads of them,
the glory of the Lord of them,
the birth, the life, and death of them,
who brings to us good news.

Chicken Bone Chester

CHICKEN BONE CHESTER

Chicken bone Chester
no other food in the home,
All of six people
to a chicken bone.

It’s not even a jester
when the fortunate one,
is the one who gets the bone
and the others get none.

But to the mind of Bone Chester
was an idea to his head
How all of six people
from just a bone can be fed

He threw the bone in a pot
Boiled the bone like a pro,
Made chicken bone broth soup
Well What do ya know.

Chicken Bone Chester
was a hero that day
Six people to a bone
Had a meal anyway!

Closed Eyes

CLOSED EYES

For a false peace of mind, to what degree,
will closed eyes spare oneself to see?

A desperate man breaking in,
Doors are closed in his face,
Qualified but denied, for his ethnic race.

Silent cries of little victims secretly abused,
Ashamed for the ways they are quietly used.

The uninvolved in self-inhibited stalls,
Hearing a woman's beating behind the walls.

Victims of burn for desperation of heat,
just trying to warm their hands and feet.

A student being bullied, disgruntled employee,
an outcome much different if closed eyes would just see.

The warnings of an avoidable obvious fate,
are now losses because of an imploded hate.

A people dumbed by racism, and hatred within,
A political extermination of real women and men.

Pile it on without conscience, just live and let be.
For there’s none so blind, as closed that won’t see.

Can’t wake the sleeping giant, for her trans is too deep,
take away her innocent children during the hypnotic sleep.

Until blindsided by a missile marked with her name,
The power struggles that be, are to no one's gain.

We need God in America, may our prayers be heard,
May the Lord bring revival through His powerful Word.

Leave moral teachings for the parents and churches,
Basic education in schools,
Parents and teachers not working together, a failing brew.

You can’t teach morale when the parents are gone,
Working two jobs for a living, trying to have a home.

Misbehaving for attention is the child left alone,
Parents jailed, or just missing, it is the system gone wrong.

We were dying from the masking,
and walking six feet apart,
Vaccinated for a pandemic, that still had it’s mark.

Closed the churches, even forbidden, to gather in our homes,
Removed our praying, and our singing, made us cold to the bones.

When will we just realize, that it’s the Savior we need
The only realistic hope for the human seed.

Father open our eyes, let us not live and let be.
Help us be brave to change the things, closed eyes can’t see.
