Today there are few men who cannot be swayed by the powers that be. Who are the people running America? Long gone are the nuts and bolts that hold fast our democracy. Our values and standards are compromised. Such confusion is so rampant, there are those who live here who are burning our flags. It has been long said, “United We Stand, And Divided We Fall!” And we are falling as we are divided in our families, in our schools, at our places of business.

The Lobbyists and the puppeteers are dictating to those who would be in office, as far up as the seat of American President, and as far wide as the FBI and the CIA. Power and greed is their agenda now. They proclaim, “Power to the people!” But are our votes really counted? Do we really have a say? Unless we wake up and realize that we need God in America, and uphold the standards for our nation to the Word of God... we will be changed, but not for the better.We will be like a nation who has forgotten God.

FIGURE OF SPEECH 

Just a figure of speech,
is the going rate today, 
To say what you mean,
and not mean what you say. 

Promises, promises, 
made to all and everyone, 
Rock-a-bye America,
til the destruction is done. 

Making promises for the vote, 
but don’t keep their word,
But the thing that you get, 
is not what you heard.

A very fitting speech, 
words goodly spoken, 
Hearts won by words, 
that intend to be broken. 

Loudly proclaimed,
from an empty black hole, 
just a figure of speech, 
By men without souls.

Like Delilah lured the strength
of Samson away,
The fall of America,
is the real game for today.
