In the silken cozy of twilight's ardent hues,
Butterfly wings paint the zephyrous blues,
With opulent raqs and rhythmic salsa gyrations,
Portraying catharsis in lucid, serene orations.
Emerald mermaids flotte on shimmering liquid gold,
Aureate tresses alight crystalline waters cold,
A swirling shoal of minnows ballet in their wake,
A playful dolphin frolicking in the kaleidoscopic bay.
A choir of chirpy birds, decked in celestial guise,
Weaves a pastel canopy, lifts weary soul to the skies.
If only humanity could mirror nature’s resplendent glow,
Blessings in disguise, in angelic avatars they'd bestow.

Your love is like a whirlwind
Which captures me
And carries me away
In your sweet arms is where I always
Want to stay
Making sweet, passionate love
Would call in Saints
From the heavens above
To protect and watch over
My lucky love
My four-leaf clover
Everything is what
You mean to me
Precious precious
Kindred soul
You take my half
And make it whole
My glass is no longer half-empty
You have made it half-full
And the future looks exceptional
Every morning
When I wake up
I want to see
Your gorgeous face
Right beside of me
You are my one,
My soul, my heart,
My destiny

At first you were a shadow in the dark
where shadows never lurk, but there you were,
a bah relief of black on black, an arc
cast by the beating of a heart that stirs
from fonts of hope eternal, as a lark
trills in the daylight when my senses purr
and keep on swooning when the lapis grows
to wed an onyx mate in true love's throes.
But then your shadow moved across my gaze
to take my breath and throw it to the night
just as my heart leapt in an endless maze
of crimson thoughts and nuptial jitters white
until you kissed my lips in breezeful phrase
and disappeared in coming silver light.
When I awoke before a dawn unseen
I wept for my zephyrous shadow queen.
